Totally understand and respect you not reacting though, you would instantly get recognized and have problems online... Frankly it's the mature thing to do (I mean maybe say something, you are an incredibly knowledgeable and respectful video creator after all, and it could have honestly helped two people who just may not have known better). But, either way, you just being real and entertaining is what keeps me (and I assume many others) coming back! Bro after just returning from my first ever trip to the keys and fishing around marathon for a week, I'm fucking ridiculously jealous of your fishing. I went 0 for 14 on tarpon. How the hell do you keep them hooked?? 😂😂 I'm so stoked for my trip already next year lol. So addictive
@FishAholicTV6 ай бұрын
Haha it takes some time to figure out the perfect setup, hook, and technique. But you'll get there. Maybe next year try a thinner wire circle hook if you were fishing bait. Or if you were using lures. I'll be honest some pre-rigged lures don't have a great hook for catching Tarpon. That is why I started making my own jig heads for swimbaits with a hook that is strong yet sharp enough to penetrate and stick. It took some trial and error to find the perfect combo.
@EvanThompson-jl6ow6 ай бұрын
@FishAholicTV yeah man. My son managed a pretty good 25 pounder on his freshwater spinning set up. But even then, he went 1 for 22 or something stupid. Oh and he had his 275 screaming one night from a big shark. Amazing place

I don't know much about fishing/boating etiquette. But I feel like purposely crossing in front of you was completely unnecessary when he could have just pulled up on the opposite side of the buoy. As for the buoy I'm not sure if there's a fishing etiquette regarding buoy's. I would imagine that anything in the ocean is fair game for everyone but, it seems like a slimy thing to do if someone's posted at a buoy.
