It's really refreshing to see that people can still come up with extremely unique ideas for a movie like this, I love the parallels and the differences between both timelines and how Gu and Ming both develop as people as they spent more time with each other.

Another movie I LOVED with the "communication in different timeline" plot is the korean movie "The Call". The Call, however, has a totally different atmosphere and vibe. It's a thriller about a woman who goes back to the mansion she lived in with her parents when she was a child and somehow ends up communicating with anothwoman who is living in the 90s through a phone - the woman lives in the same house but is in a different timeline.

@TheTrueVirus222 жыл бұрын
@@diegoanthonypeacocktheking3841 I mean 20 years isn't nothing but it is still a rather fathomable difference. Look at other time travel movies and you usually see completely different worlds colliding because the time difference is just vast. But in this case I like that it is set in two timelines that most people right now experienced and that also for the characters the differences are still noticeable but It is not unbelievable. Like if you show a smartphone to someone from 200 years ago they will think it is witchcraft. If you'd show it to someone from 20 years ago they would be blown away but they would still eventually get it.

Because you had lived in 2 centuries (20th and 21st) and it’s normal of how 19 years seem so far apart in tech because you were born in the last decade of 20th century technology already existed and 21st century starts in 2001 and become developed.

This concept is similar to two spaces from two alternate universes in a little known TV show called "Fringe". The antagonist invents a device capable of collapsing two universes together until 1 strong universe emerges. The experiment was a failure though as there were people in one building and their alternate selves in the other building in the alternate universe. Objects were mashed together and the two people inadvertently merged together into one body and their organs and limbs were twisted in all directions.

If you like this movie watch "Your Name" good anime movie Quick summary: the hearts of two young souls. The day the stars fell, two lives changed forever. High-schoolers Mitsuha and Taki are complete strangers living separate lives. But one night, they suddenly switch places. Mitsuha wakes up in Taki's body, and he in hers. This bizarre occurrence continues to happen randomly, and the two must adjust their lives around each other. Yet, somehow, it works. They build a connection and communicate by leaving notes, messages, and more importantly, an imprint. When a dazzling comet lights up the night's sky, something shifts, and they seek each other out wanting something more - a chance to finally meet. But try as they might, something more daunting than distance prevents them. Is the string of fate between Mitsuha and Taki strong enough to bring them together, or will forces outside their control leave them forever separated?

@foxyloxyBABE2 жыл бұрын
First time i felt that the sad ending of a movie was well justified. It was for the greater good. He wouldnt sacrifice his personality (who he truly was) and she wouldnt lose her father. The only price that was paid was their love which from the start was doomed. He did the right thing. For those who call her gold digging, her price /dowry for the rich men was her childhood home. In exchange they got a trophy wife that had an elite background. A lot of ppl do this, like a monetary exchange. It’s wrong, but there are many places and people that see this as a win-win. They get an obedient hot baby incubator to stay at home and serve them, and the price to pay is their cash which they have tons of it in excess. When there is an agreement on what the couple expect (most of the times its the parents who will make the decision and state expectations), they will move on with the process. Its a trade.

Some people love gold diggers because they want one. Others dislike good diggers because they know the relationship formed is fragile and not special at all. @MihaelLawliet012 жыл бұрын
1. Ming isn't her father. He killed her father by helping his coworker which is why he became Shuyi. iirc. His name, I mean. And 2. Gu wasn't evil, I'm sick of all the 'gold digger' comments when the only thing we were told is she wants her childhood home back. If it didn't happen to be a huge expensive house no one would call her a gold digger. Perhaps she wanted it back because of the memories of her father, I don't think this video shows enough about her goal to call her a gold digger as gold diggers just want money to buy all manner of expensive things.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was at 1:12. Tt absolutely moved my soul , and i don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on cat. hail cat. hail cat. The dancing cat, This made me tear up. How could such a cat do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. Cat dancing has changed my life for the better. It really inspired me to become an outstanding young man. Thank you.

It's like a better more interesting version of the multiverse. Never would have thought of something like this in this context. Very clever and well worth my time here, just saying. :)

Hey, I know you've Recapped a few Hindi movies so I would personally recommend recapping a movie called "P.K". It's a really emotional movie almost like "3 Idiots" and I've watched it loads of times. I'd seriously recommend it and hopefully you'll see this comment!

You can never change the past without greatly affecting the present. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I changed a wrong decision from the past but always come to the conclusion that I would not be here as I am now and might even be dead. Then I decide I cannot change even the smallest thing.
