1. Why the dive boat decided to left them stranded? Why didn't the dive boat rescue them immediately when they drifted away? 2. Do they each have a SMB with them and how many dive torch do they carry? 3. Did they ditch their weight to keep afloat?

I can tell you that #1 The boat did look for them. The details of the search were not fully explained and I'll not go into that part. #2 They both had SMBs and Dive lights. and #3 No they kept their weights. Thanks for your questions. Bob C
