I go over a little bit with the two seater and then I rip the Budget Build with no brakes. Comment and tell me what you think of each of them. Brakes and full on test drive on the next video. Thank you for tuning in.

First off your freaking awesome man and love your builds. That particular 40 series torque converter is designed for the drive clutch to be mounted backwards with the drive sprocket mounted between the driven clutch and the plate. I know it sounds crazy but that's exactly how Comet originally designed it. That way the belt stays aligned throughout it's range.

Why would I let my feet fall to the ground? I would get really hurt if I did that… have you ever been driving anything and just completely lost control of your feet? I should cut down all of the trees in my yard because if one fell in front of me while I was driving I am going to get hurt pretty badly. I think you are missing the point of this video. @@KJRaycing I didn't say you were going to" let"your feet fall to the ground, I've never driven a vehicle with nothing under the heels of my feet, okay ,Fred Flintstone, there's plenty of people just like you that end up at the emergency room Saying they should have cut down all the trees in their yard because one fell in front of them, while driving a 3/4ed go-kart knocked their feet loose and Jacked their legs in a way they don't belong.

The budget build looks great, pleasantly surprised by the 420 performance. Are the rear tyres under inflated as well?
@KJRaycing
@KJRaycing 2 жыл бұрын
It feels good too. I had a hunch that a rigid rear could still be really fun. I was pretty surprised by the power myself. Haven’t checked tire pressure outside of them just not being flat. Brake lines should show up today, full shakedown coming soon.
@tylerwatts1004
@tylerwatts1004 2 жыл бұрын
@@KJRaycing interestingly I think the point is bhp is a pretty useless figure, it's at peak only, for a tiny percentage of time and inaccurate once you reach the contact patch. I bet the 420 just has nice chunky torque and the CVT keeps it near the peak whenever you ask for it, perfect for solid axle drifting. Still, not seen a doughnut out the thing yet sir...

Yeah I probably could have done that. I figured you guys were just following all my builds. I’ll do better to separate them in the future. Thank you for the input. @@KJRaycing no I meant on the front pulley, leverage on the motor shaft moving the moment further out from the bearing. The bigger that spacer the more stress on the shaft and bearings is all. But if it's only a 14hp or say 20lb.ft torque motor it's probably tolerable.
