आज श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के दिन पर बधाई . वीडियो के लिये धन्यवाद. ६० के दशक में संगीत सम्राट तानसेन फील्म में " झुमती चली हवा.." क्या राग झींझोटी आधारित है? आपने गाईड फील्म में दो गाने ऐक ही राग आधारित बताया. संगीतकार रोशनजी का प्रिय राग यमन था. उन्होंने चित्रलेखा फील्म के लिये दो गाने यमन में बनाये थे. संगीतकार नय्यर जी के बारे में ऐसा सुनने में आया है, की कोई एक फील्म में सभी १० या १२ गानों की बंदीशे उनका प्रिय राग पीलु में बनायी थी. ऐसे और वीडियो का हमें ईंतिजा़र है. धन्यवाद.

बहोत बढी़या। गाईड फिल्म शैलेंद्र जी की कम बँक फिल्म थी ।

मेरी समझ में शैलेन्द्र जी अपने समय के सर्वश्रेष्ठ गीतकार थे। गाइड फ़िल्म में पहले मजरूह सुल्तानपुरी गीत लिखने वाले थे। लेकिन बाद में कुछ विवाद हुआ और उनकी जगह शैलेन्द्र जी को निवेदन किया गया। शैलेंद्र जी मजरूह जी की जगह नही लेना चाहते थे इसलिए उन्हीने टालने के लिए अपनी फीस बहुत ज़्यादा मांग ली। देव आनंद जी वो फीस देने को राजी हो गए एयर शैलेन्द्र जी ने सारे गीत लिखे। आपको बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद।

Roshan did this in Dil Hi to hai - Chura Le na tum ko yeh mausam suhana....., the other song - yuhi dil Ne chaha tha Rona rulana.... - dil hi to hai happened in 1950's and Guide in late 1960's. There is no doubt that Burman Dada has used more finnese.

Really a great information Sir. Both of them are landmark songs, they come back to back towards the end of the movie. One is pure classical, with so much of complaining shades of the heroine's mood and the other one is so sad, with the hero expressing his utter grief at the loss of a beautiful relation due to some misunderstanding.

Dear Sanjay Chakraborty Sir, Your observation is absolutely correct. Just notice how deeply Burman dada understood the mindset of the characters at that point of time in the movie. He prepared the tune based in the mood and thereafter the lyrics were written by Shailendra ji. People like Burman dada were a gift to the bollywood music. Sir this is the second time I have watched your video..I have seen all the Old HINDI Movies that you have mentioned..I am not in Music so I am honest that I don't know the difference between raag..but I was astonished to hear you sing songs on the same tunes but in very different styles..Guide was a cult Film as you too have mentioned..this was a first movie at least I saw that the Main Heroine is already married to another man & the Hero falls in love with her...I have watched all films directed by Vijay Anand alias goldie..all different kinds of movies..Love, Mystery, Love triangle..Blackmail, Comedy & criminal aliment woven ..from Kalabazaar to Teesri Manzil, Johnny Mera Naam, which out shadowed Mera Naam Joker @ the Box office collection.Jewel Thief one could know who was the main protagonist as in Teesri Manzil no one till the end came to know who was the real murderer..Thanks for your inputs..you have an outstanding voice ..to sing without a background score needs real talent..

I am truly amazed by your passion for films. Watching movies is not just entertainment but it is way beyond that for me and I feel so is the case with you. A movie teaches us about life, relationships, realities and concepts that you may not get through your own experience. May be that is why one gets to like films on a subconscious level. For me guide broke the stereotype. Married heroine, greedy and street smart hero, broken relationships, realisation of truth and no happy ending. Naresh ji Aapka observation bahut badhiya hai. Mujhe Sanyasi ke geet bahut pasand hain. Kuch varshon ke down period ke baad Shankar Jaikishan ne Zabardast music de ke apna loha manwa diya tha. Bhairavi Shankar ji aur jaikishan ji doni ka sabse priya raag tha. Aise hi protsahit karte rahein.
