Coach Amy is my favorite coach. She just seems so kind. And she is a beauty too, her eyes are gorgeous. Simone and Amy's team is definitely a match. And Amy paced Simone so good and has not been on full potential yet. Definitely good coaching!

It's about her amazing attitude, upbeat positivity that elite has not been able to crush...she's just an awesome person with a special kind of spark that comes along once in a generation..if we're lucky...

It's kind of annoying when people say she will be the "next Gabby Douglas." Do people just say that because she [Simone] is also African American? I don't think we should compare other gymnasts because of their race or background. Simone and Gabby are two outstanding gymnasts, but they both have a style of their own. Gabby Douglas had the power, but she also had a lot of grace and flexibility, especially on bars. Simone however has an amazing blast of power, it's incredible! She has height consistency in her tumbling. Both are awesome, great gymnasts that I look up to, as a gymnast myself. Just had that thought though.

I think Aimee is so good for Simone she has her grandparents as her parents by put she doesn't have a biological mom. Though her grandparents are great I think Aimee understands the void Simone must feel even if she never says that. She is such a amazing athlete . I hope so too. After the Bella and Marta era which was tainted by bullying, demoraling and harassment it is nice to see that coaches can be loving to their athletes AND produce good results!

I agree! It's quite a statement actually. I love how Kim Zmeskal trains her athletes as well. Positive reinforcement and loving attitude instead of the old traditional frustration and yelling that coaches often disguise by calling it "character building." There are more effective ways of building an athlete and their character than demoralizing them, harassing them and putting pressure on them because the coach may have a short temper or may not be able to cope with the pressure themselves.

Simone is so incredible. She is an inspiration. I get emotional when I hear her story. I think all of the gymnasts are amazing because this is one of the hardest sports I've ever seen. Oh god, so excited for her to debut her new skills. Love the wolf to front punch. I wonder when that Grigoras will come into play. So she has a double layout full out that she is going to use at the AC, but she's training the Moors. I know she must be training the TTY as well, and I don't think she'll be doing the Cheng at Scam. No Mustafina dismount either for the competition, which I am glad to hear. Pacing is key and they are being smart about it.

Ellen Miller Simone is just a different type of gymnast.. she doesn't have the same body type as those three and is a lot shorter than them as well so it seems almost ridiculous to give them an advantage for something out of her control.

I think Simone Biles' domination is good for Women's Artistic Gymnastics. She's pushing all the other gymnasts to have high difficulty. Everyone knows if they want to beat Biles, they have to go all out. It'll make for an exciting quad! I'm super stoked for the U.S. Classic and to see if the other gymnasts have upgraded a lot to pressure Simone.
