Two Trains through West Allis

NS 4593, NS 9688, KCS 4766, KCS 4748 and UP 2704, with a super friendly crew, pull a monster manifest (MCHAL) north, up Union Pacific's Milwaukee Subdivision. After it passes, UP 5970 and UP 7218 lead a set of empty Weston coal cars south. UP 7369 is the rear DPU. This was filmed at the South 55th Street railroad crossing, still sporting a pair of pedestal gates, in West Allis, Wisconsin.

There was a mechanical bell last time I shot here. No way an electronic bell is better.

That's the train's symbol. M is for Manifest. CH is for CHicago (origin point) and AL is for ALtoona (destination).

Great catch and video about 7 years ago, I think you got another meet at this same crossing, so why not call it Union Pacific Freight trains - West Allis 2?

I haven't gotten a meet here before. I caught a power move and then a freight train a little while later. They're separate videos. I did get a meet at Lincoln Avenue, a few blocks up from here, and also a meet at 82nd Street. That crossing has EM signals as well, so it may be the one you're thinking of.

No. There's a couple more on this line, along with some left on the Kenosha Sub.
