Not bad, I went with the thinkware F800 pro dash cam after getting hit 5 times, I had enough

Yeah, I've had so many close calls it's not even funny + factor in my past driving history and I dont want to take any chances. Another good thing about the dash cam is that it picks up audio so if I get pulled over, I at least have a audio recording of the conversation.

What do you do with that mess of wires jumbled behind your rear view mirror that was there at the end of your video? Can those be hidden somehow?

Is there any way to make it so the dash cam is always on even when the ignition is off?

You could hard wire it to your car battery but it will drain it. Why are you looking too record 24-7, security?

Miami_g37 I’ve read elsewhere about people hardwiring their cameras and it doesn’t drain all too much battery, just don’t know how to go about it; and yes, I mainly bought the dash cam for security purposes.

@@xStaySkilledx this is how i would do it: you'll need two connections: ground and power. First, ground is pretty easy and can be found where there is bare metal. For power I recommend looking at tapping into the fuses you have located in your driver side footwell. Get a "fuse tap" and locate a fuse slot that has constant power, that will be your power source. Connect the tap, find ground, connect a 5v to 12v converter, get yourself a long enough cable for the cam and you should be set. Hope this helps.

For the past 7 years I've been using the mobius action camera. I plan on doing a review video comparing some of the newly available cameras as I want to change mine out. What camera are you looking to get?
