It's crazy to me that someone can spend 20+ minutes detailing online dating and ERP sessions but then barely have a few sentences to dedicate to a RL marriage that they moved across continents for. i've been rping in ff14 for 3 years, and honestly... if the person your irl dating is notr comfy with erp.. you don't do it. Any time any character i play tries to rp date i make sure their SO is chill with it best I can. i've had cases where ppl muddy the waters whe i make it clear that my character is always Lite IC when im online. and that character is separate from my irl me.

I honestly don't even do lite IC. I'm either IC, with my RP tag, or I'm not. As someone who has worked as an escort in game and in character, people mixing up IC and OOC interactions is a huge fuckin problem.

There's no doubting that was Val did through out this whole thing was YIKES AF. But it has to be acknowledged that OP pulled their own shit in the end too. Both of them are red flags. I also hope OP informed, and got consent from, the other guy they threw into the middle of all this (and made poses of).
