Lina Hristova Actually, your questions are much deeper and more complex than it may look like on the first sight. You know, many gay people around the world are very, very lonely. You've asked why would anyone need someone else's personal moments of love-life to be shared with him. Well, because many of us are single, and we can't make our own ones. Yes. It hurts, but it's true. But, I am old enough not to let myself believe in illusion that I'm a part of Mark's and Ethan's life. Maybe that puts me in a better position, maybe not. When you are younger, you are happy to see an intimate moment of couple like this and it's easy to put yourself into that picture too, with belief that that's the kind of relationship that waits for you around the corner. But when you are in your thirties, and live in a homophobic surrounding, like me, things are much harder, because there is less misconceptions in your head by every day. I don't know. Maybe I watch this to keep alive my tiny hope that one day I will find my love somewhere. Seeing these two together makes me miss my one true love so much. It reminds of the good times he and I shared together. I met him when I was 19, he was 20. I feel in love with him the first time I laid eyes on him. He was my first everything. Sadly 9 years ago he died at the age of 28 due to an accident. It was the hardest day of my life. Every detail of how I found out replays in my mind often. Before all this controversy over same sex marriage was an issue (back in 2000) we purchased wedding bands. We didn't care if we could get married or not. He and I were just in love and that was enough. After losing him I now see why gays are fighting the battle. His family stripped me of having anything to do with the funeral. I was there but I wasn't included in any of the arrangements. It was hard the first few years around Christmas, birthdays and whatnot. It's getting better but it will never be the same without him here.
