I had a similar issue when playing this with that map tracker. You have to turn on some options in the map tracker that are off by default. Such as the twice arrow mitigate. Also the pocket chicken gives you item if returned to the lady and the big goron in the city that sells the knife is in the pool for some reason.

I still think the loading zone between games (in other words the link between worlds) should be in lost woods. Not only does it fit thematically, it’s also not as poorly connected to the rest of the world as you‘d think; while mask shop is as close as you can be if you have the prelude of light, if you don’t have it then the lost woods are THE crossroads of areas, connecting Kokiri Forest with Goron City which is connected with Death Mountain Crater as adult Link and Zora River which is connected with Lake Hylia as child Link.

Little late to comment on this but the reason they didn't do that is (probably?) Because you can't enter the happy mask shop as adult link, but can access everything in lost woods as adult link, and going from oot to mm as adult link would probably mess with the game too much

For me it used to be in the middle pillar room below the floating block. After I remembered that, I absolutely loved everything about the dungeon.

The problem is there’s a lot of really small collectibles that get added to the randomizer, meaning items can be in exceedingly obscure places (IE grottos, gold skulltulas, trading sidequests, just out in the wild, etc etc) Wind Walker’s a much easier one because of the islands and lack of hidden holes with no indicator; if there’s an island, there’s a chest at least, and it’s pretty clear how to get it

48:14 honestly my only advice I could give for this dungeon: follow the mini fairies. They go in a sequence that actually solves the puzzle for you. And since they always respawn at the 3 day cycle. They essentially become bread crumbs for great bay

For future reference, if you want to do the alien invasion without inverted Song of Time, you can use the bunny hood to run around the farm faster. Epona's also an option, but riding Epona while fighting the aliens is very tedious and difficult, so Inverted Song of time or Bunny Hood are your best options. Or both if you enjoy overkill.

I have watched HUNDREDS of MM videos, randomizers, live streams, and other MM content on multiple channels over the years. Probably thousands of hours worth of content and I have played (never actually finished lol) MM myself. Today I learned that you could use elegy of emptiness with the other transformation masks. I had literally NO idea you could do that, and to this day would likely have needed a walkthrough if I ever personally made it to stone tower in MM. That is WILD that there are still vanilla gameplay things I do not know about some of the Zelda games. That's how you know these games were masterpieces. Still learning things today 24 years after release about a ~25-35mb game. That's insane to think about.

As someone who owns The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time pt 1 manga, i can confirm that after getting the master sword, he is later put into a fight against Volvagia, and gets hit when having a flashback to when they were his own pet dragon. The fight ends with Link being forced to kill him by cutting his head off. Volvagia's final word was Link's name.

To get chateau Romani (more of it) you need to have the cow mask (Romani mask if I remember it's name correctly) and it has to be worn while it's 10 pm in front of the bar in east clocktown across from the stock pot inn. The drink costs 200 rupees and unfortunately you can't get it until 10 pm because the bar opens to members only which the mask is a proof of membership.

1:29:08 The mask salesman was holding on to the mask. In order to make sure it would be stolen. So that way, the evil spirit that is linked to the mask that curses it would be able to be Banished out of it. He is just the holder of the masks and he helps to cleanse them and make them useful for that of others.

Fun tips for the aliens. If you use the song of inverted time they move at half speed, and the dog will point to the nearest one, and the bunny hood gives you more than enough speed to keep up with the aliens for an easy win

Defending Cremia's milk jugs is not something you do for the physical reward, it's something you do because you're a gentleman! Also, I think "why not destroy MM" is equivalent to "why not destroy the one ring?" In that, that is precisely what was done, we jsut weren't told explicitely whether an easier way to destroy the mask was possible. Also, the mask salesman doesn't seem to want the mask destroyed. Why exactly he wanted to originally keep such a powerful dark magic artefact is impossible to say without knowing his motivations.

Funfact: You can reach the location of fire arrows in oot with the normal hookshoot. You have to sit on Epona and use the scarecrow. I do not consider it as a glitch. More like a trick? Found this when i was a child.
