Incredible instrumental video, the very best I have ever seen! 😀 I just took delivery of my 2021 Genesis GV80, it is a 2021, with 13k, on it. I got a great deal out of New York but I live in Nebraska and had it delivered. Therefore, I didn’t receive any tips from the dealer on how set up all the tech. This video cover virtually everything I need to know! So glad I found this video on KZbin, I immediately subscribed to this channel!

@@joell927 I absolutely love love the GV80 . It truly glides, and the acceleration is smooth and powerful. I’m four months With my GV80 and there are still plenty of things to learn in the controls. It has so many features that it just takes time to learn it all. But the god thing is that I can refer to you and your videos to learn more!

Great video; How do i get the home screen to display the city lights screen vs the blue or cloudy sky screen saver. I'm referring to the home screen that is displayed when you spin the center dial control all the way to the left? Thank you
@TwoGuysandaRide2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the compliment and the question. The only adjustments you can make to the Home Screen are found in the Display settings (click on Settings- then you’ll see display settings. You may need to scroll down a bit to see it). Under this menu look for Home Wallpaper and click on it. A window will open to the right that will allow you to make changes. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button!

Any details on the dash camera, that I believe comes with the navigation
@TwoGuysandaRide2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. It is an option to add Augmented Reality Navigation. Basically it uses the front camera to show you the actual road your on, when in navigation and a route is plotted, then it overlays a graphic (a blue line) over the lane you should be in, and it will show you where to turn with an arrow. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

On a gv80 how do I control the back seat fan setting, while in the back seat, without the front fan speed changing and visa versa. When in the back seat I turn up the fan setting up or down and it then turns the front seat fan speed. How do I control the fan speed control without also changing the front seat?????
@TwoGuysandaRide5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question. I’m assuming you meant to say that when you adjusted the rear fan speed, from the rear controls, it also changed the front vents fan speed, not the front seats fan speed? If what you said is actually correct, you’ll need to have a mechanic look at it, because something is wrong, the rear fan speed control has nothing whatsoever to do with the front seat ventilation fan speed. If instead you meant it as I stated it, I do have one idea to try. In the infotainment screen, go into Climate app, then go the Rear Controls, and make sure the Rear Controls are not locked out, if they are locked , unlock them, then try to adjust fan speed from the rear again and see if that fixed the issue. Short of that, I would suggest you bring it back to the Genesis dealer and have them check it out. I’ve never heard of a rear fan controller, controlling the front fan speed. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Is the heads up display on all models?
@TwoGuysandaRide3 жыл бұрын
No, it's not. it is not available at all on the 2.5T RWD. On the 2.5T AWD it is standard on the Prestige trim level only, and on the 3.5T AWD, it is standard on the Advanced and Prestige trim levels. On the 3.5 T AWD Advanced plus model it is standard. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video. I believe you can control the rear climate through the regular climate controls below the infotainment screen. On the front passenger side climate there is button that says front and if you click the "front" button, it changes to rear and controls the rear climate. I do find it odd that you cannot go left via the rotary controller but have to use the back button.

where in the world is the SD card on the new GV80?

The GV80 does not use an SD card, rather updates are downloaded over the air so no SD card is needed. Thanks for watching!

How do you turn the beeping off every time you touch the screen?
@TwoGuysandaRide2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. Click on settings, then Sound. Look over on the top right of the screen and you’ll see the word Beep with a checkmark by it. Click the checkmark and it should remove the checkmark. That should turn off the beeping you hear when you press the touchscreen buttons. @@TwoGuysandaRide do you also have to press the auto hold button everytime you get in the car it won’t stay on?

@@laylasmith2889 yes. That’s a NHTSA ruling. There are some companies online that sell a device you can install that would override the system to permanently defeat the Auto Stop. You’d need to consult your vehicle mfg to make sure installing such a device wouldn’t void any warranty

It’s part of the “calm screen”. I’m guessing it’s there because the rest of the picture on the screen is static so it’s a visual cue that something is happening behind that particular screen. Thanks for watching

When I start the car, I can immediately hear that nature sound, it is annoying. I cannot imagine that someone wants to listen to a fire place or snowfall when driving. But I would like to listen to music I have on spotify. It says that the phone is connected but I cannot hear any music. In my old car (Forst Mustang) everything worked so fine, I could listen to spotify without that nature sound and I was happy. Maybe somebody can explain me what I have to do to get that connection to spotify immediately when i turn on the infotainment system.
@TwoGuysandaRide Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. Typically any car when started, will automatically play whatever media the car was playing when it was shut off. I would suggest trying , once you start the car, to press the Media button and then select Bluetooth, then on your phone if you have Spotify playing you should be able to hear that (make sure you turn up the volume if necessary). If you leave the media set to Bluetooth, next time you start your car it should automatically start streaming from your phone. Thanks for watching
