honestly, dying alone to an overdose while playing overwatch, days pass by and nobody bothered to check on you, no matter what kind of person you are that is a very sad way to go.

@@MrHocotateFreight fr, I'd honestly say I'm the exact kind of person that you're explaining right here, I'm the type that won't speak unless spoken to. And dang it I should really go out and catch up with someone since I'm not doing shit this summer. It's like when families and friends of depressed individuals say that "they are loved" or "a lot of people care about them" but said individuals would be left to rot. It's crazy how strange it is, simmering in the depths for years instead of acting on it, maybe they're running off of that slither or hope or holding on for longer so that their loved ones don't grieve, or maybe just simply 'existing' waiting for their time. Yet, no one can really take them out through intervention if the individual doesn't embrace a complete shift in prospective. Twomad's death is a tragic story of mental illness and drug abuse with no one to intervene. Sadly a loss like this isn't uncommon, there are many lingering in the shadows ostracized from society, they are seemingly invisible, everyone knows they're there but no one really acts on it. I'm sure they themselves want to, but it's a struggle to simply act on it, I have no idea how tough it is to get out of a mindset like that.

I met Twomad multiple times when he was in Australia, every time I met him he was a delight and I was around him for hours at a time (at industry and creator events) I'm not sure if he was in a good place at the time, or it was a weird manipulative tactic. But he was polite, albeit loud and pretty obscure/random. Even as a woman he never made me uncomfortable or said anything out of pocket towards me. Part of me is happy that this is my personal memory and experience of him. But, my heart breaks for everyone who got the bad side of him.

Since he was a frequent ketamine user it could have been some sort of drug induced psychosis. It seems like he was mentally gone after he disappeared from KZbin in 2020. He had plenty of close friends early in his career that he kept abusing and pushing away. He wasn't always like that. He used to play games with us, hang out in VC, have some deep conversations. Eventually he just stopped doing that and became much more colder, inconsiderate, and completely unreasonable. Twomad was a genuinely unhinged person who needed a lot of help and likely hurt a lot of people, physically or otherwise. But all of these vague, unsupported allegations undermine anything he actually did since that now can be lumped together with the unsupported implications. As for James, I think it started as him genuinely believing there were crimes being committed, but now he can’t accept that it wasn’t as bad as he thought. So now James has to keep escalating to justify his own crusade against someone who can no longer defend himself, even though Twomad’s supposed victims are saying the allegations are false. All bad people all around, and I genuinely hope James gets the help Twomad didn’t.

Redditors celebrated Tom's video getting deleted and seriously refer to him as the "Leafy" of today's youtube generation. A man who puts out meticulously researched 30 minute to hour long documentaries about often controversial people is apparently equivalent to a dude who made 10 minute roasts about literal children. They also proudly proclaimed not watching any of his videos so as to not "support" him in any way. Well, that explains it 🤡

James looks like a sketchy asshole and the reason for this almost r/thathappen level stories are concerning, and the people celebrating his death were, while somewhat I get it, are rather disguisting in their own right 2. Personally while I pity Twomad, as someone who for a long time has also felt alone, tbh is also rather difficult to feel all that mad when he did almost everything to alienate himself from others. Is frustrating how he took everything like a meme, even legitimate concerns. You could argue is because of the drugs, but is still rather gratting. He needed someone to metaphorically and literally slapped him back to reality, but he did his darnest to avoid that

@SecuR0M6 ай бұрын
@@brxcket He made millions of people laugh because he was a funny dude. He also didn't keep a dungeon full of kids or kidnap women to keep them in his garage while doing it. Given the standards of the entertainment industry, historically speaking, that's well above board. What else do you think a "good person" qualifies as? Because you don't personally find him funny, he's bad? Because he pulled practical pranks on Zoom, he was bad? He'd probably agree, but compared to where he worked (entertainment), it wasn't just tame: it was actually in line with standup comedy. Gilbert Gottfried mocked 9/11 in a club, less than a month after it happened, in downtown Manhattan. Calling a trans* girl a "girlfriend" might be "too soon" I guess, but it's certainly not beyond the pale for blue comedy. It's ribald, crass, and lacking in taste but it's also perfectly cromulent comedy. That doesn't make him bad though. By the standards of the entertainment industry, and especially L.A., twomad was a perfectly stand up, moral person. By the standards of normal people, he was a crass, but funny, dude with a nasty drug habit and some emotional issues.

Watched it already, and I’ll say what I said again, this was prolly the realest turkey man video I’ve seen, the level of effort and the obvious emotional connection to the story made for my favorite piece by Tom. It’s really evident now that the internet as we have known it is changing so drastically that it’s unrecognizable compared to what it once was, with the downfall of so many creators through their own means or through the platforms they’ve used neutering them, or just some of the great ogs retiring from the internet as a whole is just so sad, we are at the end of an era. But idk this new ones got some cool stuff too, jynxi, casoh, Kai, sketch, and some of the other guys like them are taking the torch building themselves to be the ogs of future generations, it’s not really a bad thing but watching it all happen and thinking back to good old days while doing so is just so so so surreal and sad and honestly gut wrenching seeing some of these guys fall so hard, but I hold hope this new era can evolve into something as cool as the last one.✌️💙

Dude, it's obvious James and/or Goldi has something to do with your original video being taken down. With Goldi, she portrays herself as this innocent person when people are looking into the story so she and James convinced them to side with them, but then shows their true colors while they go out of their way to report videos that are against them. Maybe the real reason why people hardly talked about this case, nor do any research on it, is because they are either heavily biased and favors James or they are afraid of him.

The thing that gets me is that he never has a chance to improve himself. As in people normally go through valleys and peaks, and I can only imagine his mom praying her boy will make it out of this hole he made for himself, but turns out the hole was his grave. :(

This reminds me of the whole Etika situation, who clearly displayed mental health degredation to thousands of people, yet no one took enough action to actually save him

@@Purriah You can read the reply by @smellywilly8583 under @DarrenRL's comment, one of the top comments, and watch the video. To narrow it down, Jameskii and the girl are deleting videos on KZbin that question their claims. A secretly recorded portion of a deleted video by Twomad shows them discussing intimacy. This seems like damage control after Jameskii's unbacked claims.

God, that is actually so depressing. I'm glad that you made this video. It's important for people to see things from broader perspective.

I find it crazy the things his fanbase let fly as "jokes". Joking about death isn't a directly bad thing, but his aren't even jokes, theyre just bringing up people with tragic stories and placing them in lies about his life, joking manor or not bro repeatedly said a dead girl was his girlfriend with no consideration of the people who knew her who could be online as the crime is fresh in the the grand schem of life. Like if someone died 30 years ago or something or if they were famous as theyre whole life is already a point of discussion i dont think theyd care, than i see it as a ok joke material

I hate to see anyone go down the hole of drug addiction, especially if they don't have someone who cared enough to try and pull them back. Every addict thinks that nothing bad will ever happen to them. It's tragic whenever anyone that young dies.

Thanks for telling the whole story in the most unbiased way you could despite the allegations both post passing and before. I think he was a very good comedian who had undiagnosed mental illness no doubt due to fallacy in our mental health system and got lost in the sauce due to drugs and otherwise. Rest in peace to Bro. May he redeem himself in the next life. And may people let him rest in peace and not be swayed by the media to demonize his time here.

He should have been found to need to help regardless of whether he knew how real he needed it. I believe he was and is misunderstood. He obviously grew up lonely and found fame through his own ingenuity and then found that he was still lonely. He was given addicting drugs when he tried to find help and that stimulation transformed into substance abuse. He was probably misdiagnosed and under-helped in his treatment. He used his situation to fuel his comedic irony and to produce content to make other laugh and know it was okay and fucking hilarious to be the weird kid… it’s just that his irony of life seemed to have progressed into a fantasy with death as his addiction and or mental illnesses progressed. He was a smart man dealt a weird hand and unfortunately was not ready for The world to fuck him anally the way it did. I pray that those who are and were inspired by his charisma when he was himself are not swayed by his life’s trajectory and are able to keep the inspiration and passion he had for his life when he was happy to be in it. It is a sad sight to see, especially for the first time. But, unfortunately it isn’t as uncommon as you may think, though our system makes it seem so. I witnessed my step mother have a schizophrenic breakdown as a young kid and it isn’t something you can understand with rational thoughts, as it’s unrational in nature. You have to know that it was out of his or anyone’s control lest he was medicated and helped early through his breakdown and even then he most likely would have taken years to recover. I think his jokes of schizophrenia are more than jokes and I suspect he did have a schizo-affective or personality disorder which progressed into a breakdown due to drugs or not in which he lost himself. Rest in peace. His pain is no joke and his stable soul will get a chance to redeem itself.

I think TwoMad can serve as a warning lesson to young people on the internet that simply pretending to be on top of the world and pretending to be invincible does not mean you are And many times over, it ends up being the exact opposite
