My dad took me and my brother to a U pick when we were kids. It was $5 for a big bucket like the $20 one they have there (at least 30 years ago) they went to pay and my and my brothers faces were red our bellies were super big and they said well pay for these 2 buckets and they probably ate another 2 buckets. One of my favorite memories growing up is going to fruit picking with my family. The time I went strawberry picking also included a tour of the farm on the back of a truck (with some of their freshly harvested samples 😋). I never liked blueberries before my grandma took me to a blueberry patch to pick them ourselves. The old tasteless little things you get in the store are nothing like the huge plump sweet berries off the bush. I wanted to keep eating them nonstop. It was amazing the difference.
