A lot of excellent information in this video. You showed the different bedrock and explained how and why that was important to finding gold or not. Another excellent information loaded video. Thanks and keep going. I'd like to reiterate one thing in regards to the length of these videos. For me they are not too long and have so much instruction and information that even what you consider long seems to just fly by for this ol' timer. So thanks for taking the time and effort making new videos like this one.

Thank you for the good info, I think I will watch it again to see if I missed something. I hear you say how you like the gravels or sometimes you don’t. I know all the basics about where gold lays but now I am trying to get the finer details. The colored rocks that you talk about is a good clue that I will keep a look out for on my claim. Thanks again for sharing.

This was a very good video as it represents a situation we all experience more often than we admit. Giving us your experienced observations are invaluable. More of this type of video would be informative to our Real, Average experience. The rocks, the color, your knowledge on these subjects are Very important and REAL. Not like other people's videos that are interesting but only represent 2 in ten outings. More like these would be refreshing and informative. Thank you!! Your efforts are Very Appreciated!!!!!

I have metal in my shoulder, wrist, ankle, and my left leg has a rod that that runs from my knee to my ankle that hold everything together. The only reason I bring this up is, back to what dad said - you get out of life what you put in to it. I have learned what my limits are, and I put up with a lot of pain. What I get in return is far greater. Start out slowly and do a little more every day, don't allow your world to become smaller. All the best - Gary

Great video, I love prospecting the unknown creeks, you never know what you will find. Trash is everywhere, I'm in so.cal and it's bad here too. Just yesterday a friend and I checked out Trabuco Canyon in Orange county, the water was flowing from the rain a week ago and from what I've learned from you and others we found Gold, not much, but Wow, the knowledge is there. What are you doing to work hydro workings? I have so many around me and would appreciate a few pointers in what I should be looking for ?
@TwoToes6 жыл бұрын
My favorite thing to do is detect the bedrock in and around the pit. Next best thing is to detect the hill side between the pit and the creek. I have found some very nice quartz rocks with gold threw them in hydrolic pits. I also enjoy looking for artifacts around the pits. The nice thing about a hydrolic pit is you know there is gold in the area, other wise they wouldn't have worked all that gravel. Good luck!
