So much of the lyrics seem to be relating to his personal life. He certainly had a lot that turned on him thru that court case. Anger/resentment sometimes fuels the best songs He has really made a great comeback imo. Great song

I freaking love this song. It harkens back to Holy Wood album vibes, but with a new feel. Building up that angst and unleashing the scream gave me goosebumps on my first and subsequent few listens.

MM screaming out Assassination reminds me of classic Manson and proves that the King has returned to claim his throne. I never had any doubt he couldn't make a successful comeback. Glad to see he's proving everyone wrong. I don't think MM ever left...he was just UNFAIRLY crucified and has returned with another masterpiece. OAUG is a powerful song. He's even won over my uber Christian 80 year old mother. That's saying alot.

Maybe it must grow on me, the album. It sounds like a movie soundtrack, which I suppose makes sense with Tyler Bates producing. I'm calling it "Stock Rock" But having said that there are some tracks I really like - Sick as the Secrets, Nod if you understand, Sacrilegious is fun I'm just so impressed how Manson dealt with this hateful hoax, with dignity and strategy. All artists grow and make music according to what's going on in their lives, its just not where my music taste is at. Really hope this puts him back on the map and restores his status as the legend he is

I'd like to point out the obvious astrological symbolism, of Manson wearing all red (left hemisphere=Sun sign) and holding a goat (born with Sun in Capricorn)
@Jes-abelle2 күн бұрын
He's wearing burgundy quite a bit in this album's videos. Anyone else I'd think it's just a fashion choice. But since after Mechanical Animals (his glam-goth era), it's been black only. I think it means something. The color is associated with a lot of things.

Yea most of the songs on the new album are really good this one is definitely up there as top 2 or the best of the album. This jas more interesting visuals then the last 2 videos they weren't bad but both we're basically similar but both also had good songs. This one and the first music video he did for this new album are both awesome this was overall an awesome album but I will say I did really like Pale Emperor as well. Manson constantly tries to reinvent his look somewhat somewhat with each new albums in terms of tone and feel I will say this album for me felt the closest to Antichrist Superstar Hollywood Mechanical Animals Manson trilogy and would fit well enough as part of those.

The goat is also on his right side, which implies the left hemisphere because the left hemi controls the right side of the body. You have to know astrology to understand symbolism.
@metalbunnE9 күн бұрын
Interesting because I was thinking with the goat and all that, it's on the right side means the right finally has control of the left (the goat being left (blue) and the right would be a sheep (red). He's wearing red and the tree in back is red. The house is blue on the outside but within it's actually red. Red balloons and he was red in the whole video almost. Fascinating.Sounds like the sheep finally got control of the goat.
