I cannot remember if I have mentioned here on your channel but I think what really makes BOS unique is the fact that while their overall songwriting is standard of extreme metal (deathcore in this case), they also incorporate the more melodic riff work of metalcore, the industrial tones of artists and producers like Klayton of Celldweller/Circle Of Dust/Scandroid or Mick Gordon, and the catchy and epic hooks of video game scores. Kyle (the vocalist) has mentioned the video games soundtrack influence many times in interviews and podcasts so I think having them embrace their more nerdy side and letting it reflect in their music adds so much more personality to their music than just being another copycat band in the genre.
