I watched most of your series on your C50 build, and got inspired to reignite my motorcycle life. Haven't been on a bike in 5 years, but picked up a super sweet (with ALL the extras) 2005 C50, yesterday. Thanks.

Hey Bryan, I just finished the series, had me entertained all week. I just got the same year c50 last Friday and it was great to watch you show in detail how things come off, how things go on , maintenance etc. mine has a nice sounding cobra exhaust and air filter with the power commander 3 hooked up and a sporty handlebar like yours and a good looking tank bra. I just passed the msf class a couple weeks back and this is my first bike. It's got just over 19000 miles and will see many more now. Thanks again, your effort is appreciated and I hope your wife got the job or at least all that crap out of your garage so you can do another project!

Hey Brian, what a surprise? I am a fan of your (cigar obsession) and your cigars reviews. Recently - 4 months ago - I bought a Boulevard C-50, the same color of yours. So, I go often to youtube to "learn" things etc etc... and it was a surprise learn that my cigar guru has a Suzuki. By the way, good job!

Awesome job, well done!! I have a 2008 C50 and have done some work on it. But it doesn't compare what you have done with this bike. I watched the whole series whenever I had a chance. You done an excellent job explaining and showing the steps taken. I am kind of sad that it is finished. I guess now I will check out your site. Once again awesome job, the bike looks sick!!

Really enjoyed your project, you were really fast yet careful. I nearly had a heart attack when you said superglue! Let us know how you finish up with the emblems. I would have angled a piece of timber from the floor to the emblem to hold it tin place and some heat will probably help. Do a video of what it's like to ride, a road test. Cheers and now get some sleep.
@RidingFromDawn2Dusk9 жыл бұрын
Bravo nice job.. well done. I agree with Bob Oliver below use the heat gun and get them really warm while over something with the same profile, heat them till they sag to the same shape and let them cool under gravity then they will stay that shape.

That whole series was very awesome. Good job.

Your name plate there (Boulevard) take them of the tank and then first put them agains the tank and with that air blower, try to give them the same shape your tank have,it's plastic you will be able to replicate the shape you need and you wont have any problem to glue them on the tank,no drilling no cut...Just a little heat to bend them and it will fit like a glove...Have fun and thanks again i really enjoy watching you...Ta Da...BaDa Bing BaDa Boom....LoL. Well done mate. Looks great and I love the color. Good choice of color for the seat also. Not sure if the exhaust mod on your exhaust has been done but if not it does give you a deeper note compared to the original exhaust and is quite an easy mod to do. Look forward to a vid of you cruising around on it. Cheers.

Use a heat gun on plastic to shape. Apply while hot and it should cool in place. Just don't scorch the chrome! lol This bike makes a nice bobber!

still need a better exhaust, i would use a different tank, and try to get a manifold made so you can toss the airbox and use pod filters but all-in-all its not too bad. Also i would just take the badges off and leave them off.
