From what I've seen 'here' most of the service roads they seem to be coming into are fairly hard pack and light gravel, for a Harley, you just need some seat time, and learn how to pick up the bike. I'm in Az, out here if 'one' is not ready for dirt and gravel, the interstates beckon.

Love the view 😍. It's our list to stop and stay for awhile. Have a suggestion as for water goes. When it was raining and the tent was collecting the rain water in the porch. Pour that water into a water container and use that for cleaning and shower. That what me and my do when it rains while camping.

Amazing clip really!!! I have been following your journey for awhile now and applaud you for riding motorcycles instead of a vehicle/camper. It takes more guts/risk as I also own a Harley and have been riding for 44 years. Plans is to hit the road but for a 5-6 month journey for now since I have a home base in western Washington. It gets very cold and rainy up here in the PNW, so I'm wishing you much safety and lots of warm clothes, sleeping bags and a good campfire. Some good warm coffee to boot. Be well.

It is raining, God is saying go out and take a shower. LOL Now lighting strikes would be unique. Breakfast looked good. I don't think a HD was meant to ride down those roads, LOL, and it needs a bath. My wife would not last a day doing this, to be honest I think setting up a tent each move would get old. Great video I enjoy your videos.
@TwoWheelsBigLife4 жыл бұрын
I agree that setting up and tearing down a tent everyday would get old and it's exhausting as well. We try to set up a base camp and stay there until we're bored and ready to move on. And yes - both of the bikes need a bath. It's amazing how dirty bikes get.

So Chris... how much work is it for you do do all this? Asking for my ife.
@TwoWheelsBigLife3 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm... That's a good question. Short answer - just plan on everything taking twice as long as it would in a house - from cooking, washing, setting up the living quarters. It's not easy so you have to love what you're doing or you'll be miserable. Take a weekend trip and try it would be my best suggestion. You'll see first hand just how much time and effort it's going to take. But the fabulous riding, the places you'll see and explore far outweigh the discomfort (well, most of the time).
