Something that I have found to be really quick; Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls , about $2 at walmarts frozen food section(I always add an egg and some cheese, and some green chile sauce), wrap them up in a burrito, cheap breakfast.

It's "Lock-sa" lodge and it was open the end of Sept. Kooskia is "Kooskee", Kamiah is "Kam-ee-i" , just in case someone was wondering, Hwy 12 is best from west to east. There is a good KOA at Kamiah.

discovered Lolo Pass in 1976 in a '63 VW Bug going to Minnesota to get married...floated the Lochsa River in 1990 in my kayak...rode the pass for the first time two years ago during a annual trip to Kamiah...it was always rained out in years past...hoping for another run this year after missing last year due to the pandemic...I truly hope to see you two in the road some day...

I've been over Lolo Pass several times and I love it! One time I got a late start heading east to Missoula from my home and was really pushing the speed through the twisties. It was nearing dusk, I was getting tired and decided it was time to slow down. Came up behind some old coot driving a old beat up pick- up truck and decided it was time to slow down and just stay behind him being about 30 miles from Missoula. A few turns later an elk was standing in the middle of the road! He almost hit it and had I not decided to slow down I may have had an ugly encounter! Be safe. Really enjoyed this video.

I’ve ridden Lolo three times this year. Awesome ride going up and over westbound from Lolo to Kooskia. Lochsa Lodge was always open for me. The blueberry pancakes will make your day... then the ride, with the sun on your back, along the river is truly beautiful. Ninety-nine miles of twisties. You need to head back and run the whole way down. Awesome.

I bought my first motorcycle in 1972. Since then (until 2015) I've driven more miles on two wheels than on four. My late wife was a 'biker babe' from the start of our relationship in 1980. I always wanted to. do what you're doing -- just ride, smell the donuts and admire the scenery. Shelter under overpasses and press on between showers. And if that doesn't work, speed up (safely) and go! Whatever you don't like about 'now' will change when there're more. miles behind you!

I've ridden quite a few of the "famous" motorcycle roads in the country-Lolo is my favorite. Some have more spectacular views, but are a mob of traffic (Going to the Sun). Some are fun, but over in 15 minutes (ToD). Some...carved into the side of a mountain with huge drops, which makes it hard for me to enjoy the ride (Beartooth). Lolo is just sweet, with 150 miles of nice, flowing, sweeping twisties and very little traffic.

I even do that at home, "There is a place for everything and everything is in its place? And, my other half jokingly calls me Anal. In your riding you are exactly correct and the more organized you are the more you can take with you within your weight limitations. After a while it become second nature to you as your ditty about the tooth brush being in the exact same spot all the time. Oh how I envy you two. What a great life.

Looked like Flathead Lake south of Glacier? We went there this year and spent 3 days. Probably my favorite park we have done. Beats Yellowstone in my opinion.

I've ridden this road west to east. Great, but I wouldn't go out of my way to ride it a second time. Lot's of roads out there that are equal or better.

No we don’t. These bikes and trailer is what we already had in the garage. We believe if you have a dream do it. Start small and make it happen.

You were at Lolo Hot Springs for a few days??? Dayum... that's only 37 miles from my place. I was going to help them set up wifi across the road from the spring, but they sold the place. (I'M BOTH AN ELECTRONIC FIELD ENGINEER AND A COMPUTER NETWORK ENGINEER. I built everything from computers from scratch all the way through, designing, fabricating, installing and completely building secure networks.
