Hello from Sweden, I really like your trip, to just drive and not plan too much is the way to go and since you got good gear, you eat and live like royalties, in the woods! Kudos also for your video productions, I like the format and the pace, thumbs up. I crossed the US on a bicycle ten years ago so I have an idea what you’re experiencing. In California you need to be careful if you go stealth camping, there are a lot of ”organic products” growers there… (and they are a bit nervous). I don’t fancy waking up looking into two barrels so I mostly camped at campsites in national parks, but also on people’s property (after asking for permission). When I see your videos, I’d like to come back and tour the US with a motorcycle. It gives you a better range and you can load more gear. Last year, I finally got my finger out and got my motorcycle license (at the age of 56), now it’s time to catch up lost time. Stay safe and keep enjoying life (after all, it’s pretty good)!

I live in Colorado and enjoy your videos. I have a Goldwing with a Bushtec trailer as well as an adventure bike for backcountry trips. Don't mean to sound critical, but may I suggest not building your fire before you have your water? Also, I can see smoke coming from your camp at the 12:00 mark as you're leaving to get water. There is already a big fire burning near Grand Junction right now. Everything is very dry.

I pull a kwikkamp trailer behind my bike. It opens in a few seconds to a queen size bed and a dressing room. I also have an add a room that's big enough I could park my bike in it too. It's possible I could be convinced to let it go for $3,500 if you happen to run across anyone who might like a great set up like that. I put all new vinyl on it a few years ago. Last year the sun here baked three sort of brown spots on top. I don't know yet if I'll be able to wash them off or not. I've pulled it to Sturgis twice and we stayed at the Buffalo Chip.

Hi, I must say you are having some fun. The US terminology for some things are really funny. Boondocking for one. We just go Bush here in Australia, and a huge amount of campers here do that. You can free camp pretty much anywhere and everywhere. We also ride Motorbikes, I have a Kawasaki KLE500 and Bob rides Susuzki GS 1100g Trike and a Susuki GSX outfit, and a collection of other bikes. We have a camper we tow along with us. But we could never sell our home, we are on land and have horses, dog, cat, etc. However one thing you may like to look at its the MAPSME app a lot of travellers use it. Costs nothing, just download the map of the area you are in when you have wifi or internet. Look forward to watching more of your adventures. Jenny

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thx!
