A quick tip to remember when the battery is starting to get a bit slow, start the bike as soon as you switch the ignition on, you’d be surprised just how much current the GPS and phone, front and rear lights, and brake light, draws whilst you chat for a few minutes. It’ll make the difference between starting and not starting! ❤ Mike

Sounds like the battery is getting towards the end of life unless you have something draining it. Looks like a nice place for a city break some beautiful old buildings.

Replace the battery as soon as you can. Once a battery has been flat, it looses much of its capacity. It will increasingly give you problems.

Agree, a new battery is your next purchase for sure. BTW a top tip for slow maneuvers on two wheels, the secret lies in the back ;) Drag your back break when you want to make maneuvers when going slow i.e. making a U-turn in a narrow space. So stay off the front brake and just drag the back brake to control your speed with constant throttle.

Bike should start no problems after only a week . Your battery is either not getting charged fully by the alternator , getting too old & not holding a full charge & knackerred ,or you are expecting it to run or charge up too much tech tat & accessory’s . These modern fuel injected motorcycle electrical systems ,with smaller amp hour batteries ,already have their work cut out , just coping with all the extra electrical systems now required to operate the motorcycle. I always have as little switched on as possible when starting a bike & never give it more than ten seconds on the stater button at a time . If the bike has auxiliary accessory electrical socket ,make sure it’s not being required to draw more power ,than the manufacturer of the motorcycle recommends in the owners handbook . Good luck 👍

If your battery goes flat in a week something on the bike is drawing current. One week shouldn't make a difference to the battery.

There’s no such thing as a maintenance free battery you need to check the water level once in a while. I had a 3 year battery that lasted 7 years because I made sure it didn’t run out of water. The only exception is the new off road lithium batteries

You do realize that all “new” batteries are closed systems and free of maintenance right? Once is dead…well is dead and needs to be replaced. The ones you are mentioning are out of production for years now.
