Lyrics:
Well it feels like slow motion,
I hear the gun explode.
I see the flash that brings me to my knees,
And I feel the warmth flowing out of me.
But in my mind, I'm climbing up the stairs,
And walking down the hall,
And Heather's standing there.
October 99, I see us in New England in the Fall.
Our love will last forever like that 8X10,
Hanging on Heather's Wall, Hanging on Heather's Wall.
I see the money on the floor,
And his gun there by the door.
He was trying to rob the bank when I walked in.
Oh But this is not the way it's s'pose to end.
But in my mind, I'm climbing up the stairs,
And walking down the hall,
And Heather's standing there.
October 99, I see us in New England in the Fall.
Our love will last forever like that 8X10,
Hanging on Heather's Wall, Hanging on Heather's Wall.
Oh somewhere, someone says we've lost him now,
But I look up and I see Heather's smile.
So how can I be dying?
When I'm climbing up the stairs,
And walking down the hall,
And I see a bright light there.
October 99, that picture of New England in the fall.
Our love will last forever like that 8X10,
Hanging on Heather's Wall, Hanging on Heather's Wall.

I loved all of Ty's songs, but this one just grabs me every time I listen to it. It's a shame that it didn't go further than what it did in the charts. One of my favorites of his.

All remember there are so many out there wanting to be loved and to love in return. Seasons come and go but the love of a pet is loyal, unconditional and true. Don’t let guilt prevent you from helping another animal in need. Your babies needed you before, now in the hands of the creator. There is always another need. Nothing replaces a beloved family member but it’s not replacing, it’s simply sharing the love you have. 🙂

I've missed you so much. I saw you in Santa Ana California with my friend that reminded you of a lost friend. She and I felt so blessed. We saw you again at an ice skating party in the Valley (San Fernando, Socal) sponsored by our local country station. And I wake up to a pic snapped with you and I there on my wall. Really love that you're back and if I can save enough I may get to see you live again!

I lost my best friend of 45 years six months back. He died two months to the day he was diagnosed with Cancer of the Bile Ducts. I'd been retired from the Navy for Bone cancer years earlier. I 'm really past my expiration date. His wife asked me why was I alive and he dead. He saved my life once as sea many years ago. For that I would have gladly changed places with him but God wasn't listening. I can't believe he is gone and that I will never laugh with him or ever feel the warmth of his friendship ever again. I don't know why I am still alive. He was 6'5" and strong as a bull. His wife won't take my calls since she wished that I died in his place. Would that I could. I feel more alone than ever before. Remember to tell the people you care about how you feel. Otherwise they may never know. I keep thinking I will pick up the phone and exchange sea stories. I feel empty inside but I am sure his widow feels worse. May God bless them and keep what is left of her family safe.

I do understand why you feel the way you do. I understand her pain. But the decsion isn't ours to make as to who goes first. God needed him and he has a purpose for you here She's in pain but it's unfair to say it should be you. God has a reason for everything in his wisdom. Please know your still suppose to be here. There's something else to do on this earth. God Bless You.

Life is a sries of loosely connected tragic events punctuated by despair, warped by incomprehensible sorrow, desperation and anguish ultimately lost in an infinite sea of pain and regret. I guess that about sums it up. Of course, for a little levity one could consider our Vice-President's remarks that "There is Great significanse to the passage of Time." I have absolutely no idea of what she meant but then neither does Kamala.
