Ty, my man.. Everything The Beatles did was innovative, fresh, and brand new. They ruled the 60's and literally changed the culture of the youth. Even their early " bubble gum " period was as rock and roll as it got. First time I heard the Beatles was in 2006 ( I'm 29 ) and it changed me haha they truly are legends.

I still marvel at how rapidly and audaciously the Beatles evolved from 1963 to 1969. We will never see a band cover the musical ground and innovate the way they did while bridging the gap between experimental and commercial.

I have never said it like that , but, exactly!! I encourage any young person to start at the beginning and...... Their metamorphosis was like nothing else. ❤️❤️✌️

The whole reason I watch these reaction videos is to see the youngsters faces when they realize talent from before their time. It gives me hope for the future, when a new generation knows what playing without computers, and singing without auto tune or pitch correct is really like.

The term classic rock came about in the 80s when the clash between guitar driven blues rock bumped into synth poppy 80s MTV stuff and radio stations had to declare whether they were rock OR 80s music.

Listen to that orchestration again. It's more than drums and lead guitar. Listen to that BASS line! Rhythm guitar also added a lot. The guitars in Beatles songs always serve the song. No showboating.

Not simple at all! There's the bass guitar vibing throughout this song!

This was new for everyone at the time, and nothing that not required for the song. now everyone sounds like the beatles

7:39 "...like for the whole song is just the drums" - another proof that Ringo was worth being part of the Beatles.

The Beatles are awesome and I love almost every song I hear. But I rarely listen to them. As I say I really like their music and their talent is unsurpassed, I just never just say "Hey, I feel like listening to some Beatles"!

😎 When you just sit down, find some quiet time, have a beverage & chill out … listening to the Beatles is a Rad experience! I forget myself how great their music is … 😎

Many regard this album as the best sounding Beatles album. This was recorded on the first solid state desk at the studio they recorded in.

In England this was on the B side of the single Something which "only" reached number 4 in the charts here in 1969. Something was written by George Harrison, the only time one of his songs was released as an A side Beatles single up to that time over here.

In the late 60s, rock introduced darkness to music...prior to that it was very "happy days"...enter Jim Morrison and Led Zeppelin.

Come Together was released on the Abbey Road album on September 26, 1969 (about a month short of 53 years ago). In about 47 more years, it will be a century (100 F*CKIN years) since it was released. Take a minute and think about that. I won’t be here to hear it, but in 2069 I guarantee it will still be playing on whatever music reproduction device they’ll be using then.

This whole album is good at night chilled out. Amsterdam, shrooms, amazing time. But this albums is post psychedelic for them. Summer 1969. Their final album. Do yourself the favor and experience the whole thing. It’s really the first album of the 1970s and paved the way for what was to come.

The Beatles were always new. Even their early years that you called Bubblegum was new and exciting and fresh. You have to put it into context. They were always the cool band doing the cool stuff. It really doesn't matter what anyone says about them now as they will forever be cemented in history as some of the most innovative musicians of all time.

@@reactionextraction "Sgt. Pepper's" (and "Strawberry Fields Forever") was 4-track recording, though George Martin writes that they after-hours borrowed machines from other studios and patched them together to get 16 tracks. Most of those tracks were used, though, for overdubbing to the ultimately-two tracks, then those were mixed to MONO.

"Pop" is not a "genre". It is short for "popular," as in "Pop Charts". And too much is made of the influence of drugs: John was writing like that as a kid, and they were influenced by the "Goonies" comedy, the precursor for "Monty Python". If you listen to their "Live at the BBC" you'll get insight into their influences -- country, rockabilly, and especially Black R&B. In other words, they had a depth that the nonsense labels about "pop" and "bubblegum" miss that. Try "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" on this LP.
