One of my favorite OC's (Cloud Burst) is a Pegasus because she was actually made from a cloud with Celestia and Luna's magic to me it just made sense to make her a Pegasus ^^

my main oc is an earth pony named Yami Shibai (also Ghost Story technically as a name)who lives in my original town of Uma (Japanese for horse) and she was mainly created from my fascination with Japanese culture and storytelling, as well as mixing my love for the horror genre without being to graphic and almost in a dark humor kinda way. She also either can interact directly with other co's of mine to hear myths, legends, or just personal ghost stories from child hood, or one of my oc's could be a character in their story. Also one of the newer Oc's in one of her stories is a Piebald deer that has some powers to control and create snow because of her deep connection to where she comes from and snow spirits, but with her power she unknowingly awakes a dark spirit ^-^ (anything beyond that is spoilery :D) also I like your energy in the video and personally I like faster paced videos that can get their point across, but some parts can feel a bit rushed, but for me I'm not complaining to much.

after a while I finnaly came with an idea for an O.C Race: windika (also known as the wendigo)the windika has a head shaped like the skull of a stag, other features include, a large but hard to notice mane around the shoulders and neck and skeletal like hands and claws unique features:one broken antler, wolf hide as a coat (often used as a sign of power) and red fur at his mane personality: occasionaly violent, greedy, can be cheerful, doesnt mind being lonely and ignores any negativity towards him I am still finnishing off his backstory, but I will reply to this comment with his backstory in it

I went with my thestral/deer purely for visual reasons. I liked the thestral eyes and ear tufts, as well as the freedom of colour, but I'd always loved how antlers looked. That ended up contributing to the character and helping me express my own personality; he's visibly a half breed. I am visibly in between two categories as well. True, it does make the character design a little busy; there's a lot of special details and I'm sure that if I were to show my OC, he'd look like an attention plea because he's got so much going on (slit pupils, ear tufts, sharp teeth, freckles, weird colours, cloven hooves, antlers), but I wouldn't sacrifice a single detail. I already gave up something huge when I decided to leave the bat wings off of him; they're not getting my antlers!

I'm thinking of starting a KZbin channel, and-... I ended up going with a BatPony. I haven't seen a BatPony OC before and while it seems cheesy and "Edgy" I actually have a very close connection with bats. They're nocturnal, which is always nice, but also they're the animals my mom actively works to defend, and I often get to see a bat, considering that my cat often catches them. And I actually think I did a pretty good job representing both me, but also the typical batpony in the design.

Originally my OC didn't have much thought put into him, but as time went on I gradually began adding more and more bits to him to make him more unique and more of a reflection of myself in both appearance and personality. Appearance wise I originally was going to use something like Spitfire's mane style, but have since changed it to a more bushy style since people have always commented about my bushy hair in real life. Next I originally planned to make my OC a unicorn, but many people said they thought I should be a Pegasus and overtime I really warmed up to the idea. Lastly was his color scheme, I originally only intended to choose a color based on appearance but once again through many people's comments i eventually settled on a dark blue color, since in real life people describe as someone with an aura of mystery, someone who always seems to have something on his mind, and I thought a dark blue color would best reflect that.

I made my OC a pegasus, but she actually has a lot of diffrent features then normal OC's do. I litarly spent 2 hours righting down her back story, and it took me 45 minutes to draw in all her unique features. I wanted to make her special, do to the number of pegasus OC's.

My oc is an alicorn. YES I KNOW BRING ME YOUR HATE. I make it have peppermint colors and started to call it peppermint lightning. But that didn't suit it well so I called it Lightning Speed. I was just looking through some mlp stuff until I saw a pegasus with the same coloring but the make was brown and yellow in streaks. I took that idea and made my oc like that. But then I like the other Oc Killer Beats. Thats when instead of brow I change the mane to black with highlighted yellow hair , that has killer beats bangs and rainbow dash's back hair. The cuitemark now Is a thunderbolt with no cloud. Also I actually have Crystal Pony eyes. Ta-Da!

Mostly, I have an earth pony oc. I'm not going to talk about her much, since her design and backstory are still on the drawing board. If I ever DID start reviewing episodes of MLP and other topics, I'd probably go for an oc of one of the Egyptian cats from the comics, I like their design and I think I'd stand out more.

If I can draw it decently, I'll use a baby dragon to represent myself. Specifically, an analysis channel I plan on working on after winter break. My reasoning is that 1. I tend to be more combative, and quicker to argue rather than smile and nod. (this would be amplified in the character) Hence, a dragon's more aggressive nature seemed to fit my personality. And 2. I'm a minor. Thus, the OC is a BABY dragon.

Well, I kinda dropped my OC's old back story because it seemed Mary suish during the time, so I guess I'll just tell the story of how I created my OC two years ago. My current boyfriend and I had been trying to think of OC's for ourselves, but we decided to give each other the names of our OC. The Sapphire comes from it being my birthstone and my favorite jewel. The Heart comes from my supposedly caring and passionate personality. The song comes from my personal life where people had been telling me since I was a kid "You should join choir!" (which I finally did for my last year of high school, aka now.) I had tried giving her a back story of how she was a canterlot pony who was pressured to be the next big celebrity by her parents, and the fact that she eventually gets an amulet that can change herself into a unicorn or an earth pony for one hour (she can also turn into a crystal pony to double her strength and magic, but I'd have to cut the time in half) but she can not turn into an alicorn. She already has Princessy Pegasus wings. (Mostly because I hate regular Pegasus wings) But I felt sorry for the Pegasus species during the time and didn't know they were the most popular during the time, so I went with Pegasus. If I could go back in time, I'd change my OC into an earth pony (or unicorn)

My pony is a rare type of pony that lives outside equestria in a snowy island. Her name is Misty, of course, and her fur changes color due to season change. In winter and fall her fur is white, and in summer and spring, it's blue or green. She is a pegasus and has snowflakes in her mane. She is also half vampire bat which is wy one of her iris' are red and has fangs.

Long-story-short, my OC went from noobish black-green Alicorn to a blonde-white Pegasus to a gryphon-pony hybrid(with less bright color palette too). Reason for that was: I saw too many blonde white-coated OCs and wanted to stand out abit, when I came across gryphon hybrids, Sphynx. My OCs colors suit my happy personality, and IRL I'm an easily rememberable person, I stand out. So what stands out better in a crowd of ponies than a hybrid? Well, theres a few things, but you get the point.

Originally I chose a unicorn OC, but over time I fell in love with the state of Texas I was still sticking with a unicorn until I watched a video by Mad Munchkin on being creative. So I redid my unicorn and turned her into a Texas longhorn to represent my love for Texas and having a cow OC would be unique. On top of that I took a step further and made my OC a miniature Texas longhorn to myself in real life because in reality I have Dwarfism. With my cow OC there is much more to work with. Like instead of giving her a cutie mark she was given a brand that reflects who she is.

I choose my OC because I haven't seen that many half pony OCs around. My OC is a half wolf Alicorn. The reason I choose Alicorn for her pony part was because if I chose anything else, She would have been more powerful to overcome her disabilities as not being completely pony. Disabilities which would and will be explained in her backstory. But even as an Alicorn she still has her disabilities to not make her Mary Sue. Her backstory and family only ever mention the cannon alicorns two or three times but not as direct or distant relatives.

Originally I was going to be a creepypasta reading channel called PoeticMotherPasta, so the character was gonna be an earth pony based on the traditional ghost/creepy look, black hair and eyes with pale white skin, or in this case, a white blank-flanked pelt. But though I liked the idea of being a creepypasta reader, I realised it wasn't for me simply because I hate reading, I can't read one line without stuttering and I'm very monotone. So instead of an earth pony, I decided to rack my brain and think about possible different cultures within the mlp universe, and sure enough, one of the things that came to mind was a chocobo. (They are a pain to draw ugh) Chocobos have been a big part of my life since I grew up on Final Fantasy, to the point where I tried to incorporate them into everything mlp because of their cutesy style. Plus honestly Chocobos were under-rated in every perspective, but I wanted to view myself as different in the fandom since when I do make analysis videos for my channel, it wont be reviewing MLP, but rather coming up with theories for the show and community itself based on mythology, something people don't do that often. Kinda matches my creature when I think about it.

I got my non-ponysona from actually watching other youtubers discussions on the matter, your channel included. Originally, I was going to do a pegasus as well, since I also wanted to fly. After watching those videos, I realized if I did a pegasus, it would prove very difficult to make it unique, along with unicorn or earth pony OCs. From there, I did some research about the mythological creatures in MLP, to none of which caught my initial appeal. I then did deeper research into mythological horses and ponies, though none of them came up with what I wanted. My aim was to have an almost non-pony OC that could fly and looked unique from everyone else. My research led into what others had done for their OCs. I researched bat ponies, the magic unicorns and pegasi have, what qualifies as still a pony, and what makes each one special. Overall, I decided that the best way to go was to give my OC a subtly demonic look, but with the appear of a pony face and a cutie mark. I used the wings of a b

at, as I did not want feathered wings, and I also used the fangs of one, goat horns, because they appeared the most demonic in my opinion, a wolf'a legs and ears, because I honestly love wolves, but did not want a wolf OC, as that has already been done, and the head and front legs and body of a pony, to show that they were not a completely different thing. Thus, the Canrasettuus was born, the first and only of its kind, as no one has ever created such a creature. In the end, it turned out to be a unique and original creature with a familiar look so others could recognize me in my MLP work. And thus, ends the tale of how I created my OC. :)

I really like your OC and design choice, and it's always cool when the OC is based off of your country ^^ Really shows your pride! I know unicorns are one of the more popular choices, and I don't like the fact that I may get swept under the rug because my OC is not very unique, but I honestly can't picture her being any other species or race. The other pony races just doesn't mesh with my personality, and other species I just can't picture, oddly enough. I can usually picture various different styles for one character, but because Auria is based almost solely off myself, for once, I just have a hard time picturing her as, let's say a hippogriff, or (something I haven't seen yet) a giraffe. It just doesn't seem right to me. I chose a unicorn because unicorns have been shown to be extremely creative and artsy, and that describes me perfectly. I want to be an earth pony or some other species because I'm usually the odd one out, anyways, but I honestly can't picture Auria as anything but a unicorn. Ah, well, I'll make her stand out amongst other unicorns more ^w^

I just have a few questions about your OC design: Why did you make your reindeer body look like a peanut? Why is the stone pendant levitating? Why can't I see your other antler? That said, lots of great details in this design. I like that you didn't shy away from adding spots and getting the model a bit more 'shaggy' or furry than the show generally portrays.It gives him a bit more character.

Tyandaga No worries at all! Everyone has to start somewhere. (Also, you could just use the excuse that it is stylized, lol.) I myself am not a perfect artist. I just have to give useful criticism when I see potential because it's what I'd want others to give me as well. Just by tightening up a few things, your OC will be ready for his close up in no time :) I can't wait to see the new version. One more critique: I just noticed is the knees. The shape is a bit odd. Looking at the anatomy of a deer or even just other drawings can help that, too.

Ok, so my oc's name is Lyric. Her appearance is, a white coat, along with a red and gold mane. I wanted my character to be diffrent, so her eyes are two totally diffrent colors. Her right eye is orange, and her left is red.(btw she is a unicorn) Ok so this is her backstory. On a desert like island, was a mare with white and gold streaks in her mane, and a light brown coat, named Cocoa. She was running accross the island panicked. "I know, I'm sorry, my alarm-" "Its fine." The mare cutted her off. "I looked at your record, and the information you put in your application, and your hired." Cocoa was relieved as she walked out the room after the old mare told her about cocoa's first day, and all the dates and rules. She looked over at the stallion noticing he was still there. Writing in a journal. She walked over and sat accross from him. "What are you writing?" Cocoa asked. The stallion looked up at her, noticing her red and orange eyes."stuff" he said, looking back down at his paper. "Thats nice... Do you like this bakery?" "Yes, I come here every sunday to write in my journal." The stallion answered looking up at her. Gazing inter her eyes. "Whats your name?" She asked smiling. "Pepper." He answered. "And you are??" She had the same eyes as her mom. But sadly after birth, Cocoa died of a heart problem. Pepper was Devastated. After the funeral, they moved to Las Pegasus. As the young filly grew, everytime before bed, the young filly would ask, "What was mom like?" Pepper would ignore her and tuck her in, and go to bed. On peppers 14th birthday, Pepper got Lyric her first Ipod.. The Dj for Lyric's party was delayed, due to another birthday party. Lyric was disapointed because she was expecting a big party after she opened her presents. But Lyric had an idea, but Pepper didnt really aprove because he thought the idea was briliant. He brought up his old dj hardware Cocoa had bought him for his birthday. She decided to play herself. While Lyric was playing, a volume icon appeared on her flank. Thats all I have, but im working on it. :3

My OC is a pegasus but she is also an enderpony, she has bad anger issues can fly unnaturally fast and can teleport (not very well but she can) her name is SunSprite and she has a long brown mane and tail, a bright yellow coat,her visible eye (right eye) is grey, and her cutie mark is an xbox controller. The white part of her right eye is purple and her snake like pupil is magenta, her eye glows purple too but her mane hides her eye.

I have plenty of OC's, but I decided to draw one of mine (Doctor Icymoon) in the MLP *_style_*. Here's her backstory: The young doe came to Equestria from her hometown in Jamaa trying to escape the Zootopian invasion. After the war, many animals went home, others decided to stay. Not only because they wanted to go back, this also prevented overcrowding, allowing enough room in case they liked it better there. Now she works as a sorceress in her treehouse located in the Everfree Forest.

I don't call her a Pegasus because she never learned how to fly, and she doesn't want to learn how to fly. She just wants to stay on the ground with all the critters.

I ended up with a Changling ponysona/OC; I did this for a few reasons; one, not that common, but still in the show, two, This Day Aria is my fav MLP song; and three, I already had a werewolf/shapeshifter persona, so it fit me to have an shapeshifting character. =)

I've always wanted to create some sort of deer OC. I had it all planned out; the name, backstory, that sort of stuff. I was fine, until I figured deer wasn't that great of an idea considering I'm awful at drawing deer. I'm bad at it because every time I drew it, it looked way too much like a pony. A few days later, I was basically out of ideas. I was literally spamming the randomize button on the pony generator looking for a design. I then found this weird looking one with decent colors and butterfly wings. It was perfect. She'll be my little breezy pony. (By the way, MY RAINBOW SCOUT IS NOT MY OC.)

My main OC is a Pegasus. I know it's super common, but I love pegasi. I'm also a huge fan of night time, and since pegasi can fly it means they get to be closer to the stars than other ponies. Not only that, but my choice in a Pegasus OC also represents my dreams not being tied down and letting them fly freely, allowing me to be more open and outgoing! :D

My OC is a unicorn because she's a writer, and because I wanted to use her to make an in depth fan fiction that fills in all the plot holes that kind of crop up in the show such as the threat made against canterlot in the canterlot wedding and where trixie got all the bits for the alicorn amulet. For this I needed an OC that would want to screw with Twilight, and an ex student of Celestia fit the bill. (I did come up with her before Sunset Shimmer, but she is different anyway) So yea, that's why my OC is what she is ^_^

Now I am new to your channel, so I don't know your characters capabilities yet, but the perk I guess of choosing a Reindeer.. is that technically you could still have a character that can fly. ;) I chose a pegasus, but that's because I have an absolute LOVE for flying and the idea of having wings any way, long before I started watching MLP so it seemed a given that I would choose a pegasus. :) Though a Unicorn did cross my mind at some point for the perks of magical abilities. Even though technically with magic, I could still have the ability of flight if my character specialised in it. (Plus now with Season 5 we also now know that it is quite possible for a Unicorn to actually accomplish this) But.. I don't know I have always loved the visual appeal of a pair of unfurled wings. So pegasus it was. :D But I do really like the originality of your choice of character. :D

My pony oc is an Earth Pony named Celestial Brush, She really represents me, and I even have a reason as to why I made her the way I did, but many people confuse her to be a griffin cause of her black muzzle, and black hooves... I'm not sure if theres a way I can change it or make it easier for people not get it wrong, but looking at the poll, I think I'll make all her friends which consist of a pegasus, 2 Unicorns(who where gifts for my birthday from some friends), and either a griffin or a zebra, or something else since they arent very popular...

I have created many OC's, but the one to represent myself was hard to conjure up. I had to think and search for inspiration, though I didn't end up using most of it in the end. I began sketching. My character has a stars arc looking pony body, but I will probably change that in the future. At first, I planned for my oc to be a lynx since I like cats so much. But I had a really hard time with the ears. They always looked funny, or too pony like. So I had to think a bit more. For inspiration, I started adding more to my oc, the prominent feature being a lot of fluffy fur. Then I drew small bear-like ears. INSPIRATION! (That's the sound of me getting hit by inspiration.) I was like, "Hey, it looks like a polar bear." At this point, it was still in black and white, so of course it looked like a polar bear. So that's what I stuck with. What's also cool, is that it kinda reflects my own personality. It may look fluffy and cute, but it can have a temper at the best and worst of times. (Limit)

my OC is named Dodie, or Doddle. her last name is Bubble. I wanted something like dubble bubble for her name. she's like a piece of bubble gum, sweet but ready to pop. she tends to blurt things out though. she actually kind of looks like Harley Quinn, probably because for blush she has two little hearts on her cheeks. she's kind of bubble gum centered; she always has a piece of gum in her mouth, and she's a food critic, even though she's 14/15 years old. her cutie mark is a slightly bitten piece of gum with the word "G U M", with a little heart.

My ponysona Cherish is a unicorn, but originally was an alicorn who's ancestor was a princess. I chose an unicorn because I loved the thought of flight and I loved to draw (which requires magic). I changed that aspect as well as the design when I was 14. Probably because I was just sick of having an alicorn OC or something like that.

I used to have a Unicorn Oc, because I thought that my options were Earth, Pegasus or Unicorn. Of course, I knew that Griffons, Zebras, Bats (Vampire pony thing), Changelings or even an Alicorn. My OC is a Dreqonicuss (I've probably spelt that wrong) DoodleJinx was originally an earth pony, an artist that lived in ponyville and she ran a local gallery. But was mind controlled by discord, then as he turned back to stone some of his chaotic power remained within her. she began to change and with her new powers came up with a spell to make her look like her old self, but it didn't go to plan and decided to keep her new look (hens the snake tail and weird eyes) - she is also the inspiration behind my business logo and her name is my alis

I initially decided to be a Pegasus, but like u said, most people choose a Pegasus. So I decided I would be an alicorn as the daughter of king Sombra, who I still technically use her but she was still a bit plain. Finally I thought about making up a Batpony alicorn OC because when I saw them in season two, I immediately fell in love with them. She is a white Batpony with a brown mane with tips of blue on the ends because my hair is brown and I want to dye it a bit blue but my parents think it isn't a good idea. Anyways, her cutie mark is a pair of DJ headphones with music notes around them and peacesigns on the ears. She wears a peacesigns necklace she recieved from her best friend Nightwing, when he saved her from a changeling horde. Yeah so I know it sounds weird but oh well! I explain clearer on channel!

Well my pony Oc was initially a unicorn that was based on me rather than a backstory of it's own. as I went through different phases of my life I would change it over and over again, from Unicorn to Zebra to Pegasus, and I ended up staying on Pegasus for a while, but still changed it several times. However. finally I decided I had had enough of all the changing, so I settled on a Pegasus named Xantara.After a while though, I've started watching your channel, and I saw your video of non-pony OCs, then I watched Mad Munchkin's, so I decided to redesign her one last time, give her a full backstory and personality according to it (and made her a Blankflank following why you are one too, and the fact that I kept changing cutie marks too) and in the end, I came up with my final product (link won't work but it's on Deviantart, you can find it by typing "Xantara the hippogriff" X3)
