Well it was worth it if you enjoy it. For me, it's not really worth it but I can appreciate it. If I had more space, more ability to afford things and less government tyranny and thievery being used against me and the working class, it's definitely worth it because I love transformers! And fanstoys usually does good work. I think the price was honestly better than i expected.

Yes, it was worth the wait. Because, even though the combined mode is a little disappointment, it was never about that to me. I just wanted as cartoon accurate Aerialbots as possible - and Fans Toys fulfils that requirement best. That's it. By the way, even if some people just _might_ display those Aerialbots in their flight stand mode, there is at least one person who does that _certainly_ and _provably._

For me price is a factor. I feel FansToys did the customer dirty first with the long wait time and almost no communication and second with the price for the final figures. I went in on the Stunticons. I am happy to be seeing the final component but dang, almost double the price point of the others?! I will definitely think twice before jumping in on a combiner team they are offering.

Price from Fanstoys was known since the beginning. Delianjj fro. Fanstoys stays said that the final bot would come with the combiner parts and cost as much as a limb bot plus another maverick ( same with their menasor).

I was never going to get Etheraeon, but after seeing it all together it really isn't vastly different than Superitron. The arms are what really set it back from Zeta to me, they seem too short and anemic. Zeta definitely has the better alt modes too, bot mode is where FT clearly shines over Zeta in this set. Yeah, FT is expensive, but I would not be let down at the end of the day. Everyone wins here in this case.

Love my Zeta. I got it as a box set (which included that cool die-cast alternate chest piece) for $467.00 in total. He's intimidating in combined mode, hefty and solid and the metallic paint looks great. The price for the FT is just too much, the colors do pop beautifully on the FT. Either way, you do you, there is no wrong choice when it comes to personal taste.

The Zeta is still more toon accurate in Superion mode. And for $1000 cheaper, it’s a no brainer if you’re going to display him in Superion mode anyhow.

Personally what I would like to see since you were talking about recolors and whatnot... Would be (1) A masterpiece twin cast. I would actually kind of prefer it done in acoustic wave or whatever the company was that made the blaster before fans toys did just because of the fact that 80 bucks for a figure like that I think is quite more reasonable considering how expensive fans toys blaster was. (2) For fans toys to release rewind or the black cassette by himself. That way I can get him by himself vs buying the whole set just to get that 1 figure (3) My big fan of The Mastermind creations combiners & it'll be cool to see them recolor the bruticus & Defensor into the city base Japanese recolors just because. (4) And I would like to see a masterpiece version of both computron and piranhacon because looking at design elements that both Moon studio and Mastermind creations have used on both their Raiden and Defensor for example could be reused or recycled for designing combiners similar in design and function where they would most likely look pretty good in most any form that you put them in. So that's something I would like to see.

I purchased the FT's strictly for individual bot mode because that's where they shine over the Zeta. Combined mode belongs to Zeta. The FT's Superion's shoulders look weird.

Just got mine in from Show.Z and gotta say it looks beautiful. The hands are so expresive and anatomically correct. The only thing I would have changed is is the base modes. If they hadn't worked the engineering into it they could focused more on better articulation on the shoulders and thighs. But I'm happy with my purchase. I know its compared to Zeta but with Fanstoys you have the option of being able to have it in any mode because they all look awesome. Did the mad and I spent 860 so at that price I'm ok having the best all around Aerialbot combiner.

No way am I combining my FT bots lol Zeta stays put and the beautiful FT bots are on display as well. Being forced to buy combiner parts with Jester was completely unacceptable but people didn’t seem to care about that. Nor did they care about Viper’s skirts being miscolored with the correct color skirts being shipped with Jester only. This release left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll never invest my time and money into another Fanstoys set. They’re gonna repeat the process with the Stunticons. Fanstoys can literally kiss my ass I’m not paying $399 for Dead End after paying $399 for Jester. In so many words, f* Fanstoys 👎🏽

Bought the Magic Square Brawl a few days ago from ShowZ. Hasn't shipped yet but I'd guess it will soon or they wouldn't have requested paying it off. Don't have a Superion yet. Going to buy the painted Metallic version from ZETA in a month or so but I do have the 3 older Fanstoys Aerial bots on preorder at ShowZ and will also pick up a Fanstoys Fireflight and Slingshot in the next few months as well as I do want two sets of Aerialbots long term and not identical sets from the same manufacturer. Fanstoys are expensive but if you want the very best you're going to pay a premium for them. The only other set that I want to duplicate that's close to as expensive as Fanstoys is Gigapower. These are also the only set I want duplicates of that's not a combiner set. At least those are in hand already. Those Dinobots ain't cheap either. 😂 It wouldn't be right to me not to have a set as Dinosaurs and that will remain the Gigapower set but I do want a set to display as bots as well and the FansToys will be perfect. As far as ZETA Bruticus? It just got dropped by me. I want two sets but it's now Magic Square and MMC for those. The ZETA set just got bumped by Magic Square but I still want the MMC for the team display. You could grab a Shatterd Glass all black ZETA Superion for yourself? It's an option and the same price as any other ZETA combiner. It looks cool!

FT going for toon and Zeta went for Studio Ox for individual bot modes. It comes down to what your personal style is. I prefer Zeta's bots. Super expensive for super plain figs doesnt compute for me. Kudos for those that like FT's approach (and dont mind the $$)! 👍🏾

Thank you 🙏 for this video. After reviewing all the videos in the last month with respect to Zeta and FTs on this combiner, I’ve decided that FT is a MUST have in the MP collection without a doubt. Sadly I got on the FT train to late as I’m only into owing two of them (still waiting on Jester to ship). I have pre orders on the remainder aerial bots. So no telling when then will finally drop. I say that to say this, today I will order the ZB-06 Superitron from TFsource. That way, I can have a full MP combiner while I’m waiting on FT to release the rest of their Superion bots. MAYBE there will be an opportunity to find my missing FT Superion bots at the TFCON in Baltimore this November!!

G2 at FT price? Sounds Cool, and would be Amazing, but, BUT, the PRICE has me OUT b4 it even starts. NOW If Zeta were to come out with a G2, at their Price Point, I'd be in. Imagine if Zeta not only did that, but cleaned theirs up a bit. Sign me Up. Same with their Combaticons. There are a few Flavors I like, G2, Ruination, All Woodland Camo look with highlights. The only bad thing about masterpiece collecting is you have to kind of have a idea of where you're going to go with your collection and not necessarily run around and buy everything that's there. You can do pretty well buying things on the secondary market. Where somebody sells something off that they don't want anymore. I did that with my reflectors, so you can do pretty well buying these second hand if you're lucky. But it depends on what you want. Personally one thing I find annoying about the collecting aspect of this is too many people I think have a hissy fit if you don't buy a certain figure that they particularly like. If you like it, go with it. If not it's not the end of the world. There's certain figures out there that certain people find to their taste, but I'm not really into them. I haven't had a chance to play with these because I've had too many personal things going on, but I'll probably check each mode out and combine them just for space. Me personally I'm really enjoying the Mastermind creation combiners and quite happy with what their coming up with. I'm more into the hybrid look. I'm not against toon per se but I like a little detail and I don't like the hyper toon look because it's too stripped down for me. I think that the combining gimmick I think was kind of cheesy, but so far I'm happy with these guys. But that's my take.

Anyone who thought FT would finish a set of combiners in 2 years wasn't paying attention when FT was making the Dinobots. They released all the Insecticons and a few other figures before finishing that set.

But it does look great… and I am willing to pay the high price for a really nice looking figure… As for the long wait for it… I’m sort of indifferent about it… cause it is is what it is… always a long wait… Great review as always…

Zeta for combined, FT for bot/alt mode. From a financial stand point it'd be better having 3 sets of Zeta... But the FT bot/alt mode are sooo nice.

I'm missing the past releases cause at that time I didn't have space for such big combiner. Now I have space for 1 set combined or not. The only reason to stay with ft is that I can change my display on from combine to bot modes. If you have space for both I don't see getting 2 FT is worth. Also the truth is that displays change with time. Today is combined mode tomorrow plane mode. If someone don't care too much how zeta bot mode looks like the don't see reason to go with ft at all

Fanstoys is exactly one inch bigger than the zeta (zeta superion was the smallest of the zeta combiners) FYI there is even more articulation on the Fanstoys over the zeta shoulders work and look better but they have the same articulation. They tie on most but the fanstoys has better foot and hand articulation and a much deeper ab crunch. The Zeta has better hip and forearm articulation (fanstoys has no forearm swivels only elbow). The fanstoys is much less floppy as well. I had both sold my zeta (the plastic is cheap hollow and brittle felt a bit worse than chug). The zeta legs need those stupid knees locked on skydive and airraid which always come loose and cause the figure to flop. Also zeta silverarrow has than infernal floppy backpack. In combine mode only and displayed and left the metallic zeta would look fine.

Total price without tax and without shipping = $1309.95. considering the shipping is way too expensive. Is a good set but is not worth an investment. like that. I'll keep the jet commander oversized version. This is a matter not only of brand quality is also a financial move.

If you were in since 2019 and you care about the individual bot modes, then yeah, I think it was worth it. If all you care about is Superion, and/or you don't have either and are picking right now? Then no, it's not, unless you *love* the Aerialbots and need the best bot modes around. I'm happy with mine, but if I hadn't been in from the start, I'd have gone for the metallic Zeta and said screw the bot modes.

My wife explained it to me best, keep the Zeta and take what I would waste on overpriced Fanstoys shell formers and just hire me two high end call girls for a couple hours tomorrow. She even agreed to film the encounter. My minds made up. Fanstoys can stick it, (just like I am this Saturday when my ladies come to visit). It's an easy decision for me. Guy's, I would recommend asking your wife the same but she might not be as understanding. You'll never know if you don't ask fellas. Wish me luck, and I wish you luck.

If you are comparing just combined mode, I think fanstoys looks better but not 3x. But fanstoys has way better bot mode and they're important characters to me. Would I do fanstoys for defensor maybe not.

Ehhh. I don't think anybody's gonna do a G2 Superion. I'm shocked Hasbro had the balls to do G2 Superion, Menasor, & Bruticus during Combiner Wars, BUT, I think that was just a flash in the pan and likely won't happen again...not for Superion, anyway. Else Zeta would've G2'd up both their Superions by now. (Even back in the day, TFC didn't G2 their crappy Superion, so there's that...)

I still don’t understand the flight stand gimmick. Worse, I don’t understand why people like it. It’s a mess. It looks ridiculous. Flight stands should be clear. They should be as unnoticeable as is possible. That monstrosity looks like toys perched on top of a Lego set. It’s laughable and the fact that people are praising it is proof that Fanstoys has a reality distortion bubble surrounding them.

I don't think it is given the price disparity, that said, the individual FT Aerialbots themselves stand head and shoulders above the offerings from Zeta. The FT Superion is subjectively better than Zeta but only marginally so (paint, plastics). Zeta's sculpt holds its own and given the price difference ($400 vs $1500) Zeta is the clear winner if you only want a Superion. The thing is, most of us contemplating a Superion already have a Zeta and are looking at a $1500 purchase with FT. I do not own Zeta, given that I like the individual FT Aerialbots better (Silberbolt, Iceman, Goose, they all look incredible) and given that I do like how the parts forming bits become flight stands (I like and use flight stands and totally intend to use them) I am all in on FT. Edit: ShowZStore has Jester for $320 shipped, I just received him today. Rough math puts the grand total for FT Superion around $1000, not $1500, but yeah, Zeta is still half the price.
