My hair loves the LCO method. I tried the LOC method and felt the cream was just sitting on my strands. It was a great learning experience 😊 Love your video 🙏🏾 I agree with the tips you gave.

I tried the LCO on my daughter's hair today and noticed it made difference from the LOC method I've been doing. So I looked it up to see if LCO was a thing and came across your video. Very informative. Thanks!

Hello. I literally just watched your video and tried the LOC method on my medium porosity-4C hair. I decided to mix two of favorite oils and used a fine-mist spray bottle to apply plain water+ a leave-in conditioner spray. I took small sections and took my time-working the products into my hair. Well, my hair is curling and twisting-up very nicely! Yay! I will keep the twist flat and use hair clips at the base. This is my first time doing the “L.O.C.” technique; and I can tell, my hair will give me great results! 👌 Thank you, for posting your video!🌟 Have wonderful tomorrows!💥 R~😃

I believe the L stands for Leave in rather than liquid. leave ins provide more moisture and the butter is better for styling/sealing because of its low water content.

The LCO method could feel more moisturizing because you did that side last hence less product has evaporated. Just something to consider. Great video btw
@Tyiece
@Tyiece 3 жыл бұрын
I judge the moisture level the following day to prevent this. Each side was only 10 minutes apart so I doubt that was the case. Thank you 😊

Hey girl. Thanks for the content. You could probably look at the different oils and see which ones are penetrating. Those are the ones used in the loc method.

I am currently doing the lcoc. Loc made my hair feel gross I was doing Lco but since I have high porosity moisture is almost impossible to stay in my hair!! That Africa pride leavin is life. And the heaviest cream base possible the better. I go a little light on the oil because I don’t want my hair too greasy.

Yes this whole line from African pride is nice except the chocolate conditioner. They messed it up

I've done both. I used to do the LOC method then my new hair stylist suggested LCO as I'm now transitioning, I couldn't see much difference but plating it was also an option from her, I've just done that and will take it out tomorrow morning and see. Do you always leave it in knots or twists over night or do you keep that longer?

Hi Theresa it might help doing protective styles from wash day to wash day to avoid hair manipulation. Also try to massage your scalp with rosemary oil and tea tree oil. Success in your journey, you got this!

I feel like every time I moisturize and put it in mini braids and seal it the next day it’s dry and lacking moisture. I put TGIN leave in, TGIN buttercream moisturizer and hair grease and I don’t think I’m retaining my moisture. What can I do?

Try starting with a liquid first such as water then use either the leave in or buttercream instead of both and then the grease last. Also make sure the products are completely protein free

Hi, since you have low porosity hair try using any of these light oils Jojoba oil, avocado oil, argan oil, grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, or Baobab oil.
@sunflowerlight2067

Also, to retain length and growth try moisturizing your hair then putting a low manipulation style in 1-2 weeks at time WITHOUT weave. Some low manipulation/styles are mini twists, mini braids, head scarves, buns etc. Also, sleep with a silk or satin scarf. I have low porosity thin 4c hair and this has work best for my hair. Hope this help! ✨
