Awesome fly, a base for all the caddis patterns, fill a box with 18 to 12 all the colors and you can't go wrong.

Davie, thanks so much for your really detailed, informative, clear and concise youtube videos instructing first timers like me how to tie flies. You make the process so uncomplicated and accessible to all. I love the process of fly tying, and it's especially satisfying to hook up on fish using flies I have tied under your instruction. Keep up the excellent work, it is much appreciated! One question; Do you have a stickleback imitation? Thanks again and hope all is well in Bonnie Scotland!

Hi Davie, great video and tying again and again. Could you tell me what dubbing you are using in this video. I am sorry to ask, but I couldn't understand it, I am not a native English speaker. Thanks a lot. Best regards Jan

Davie, you should write up a book called "Modern and Classic Flies" if it's not already taken. I know I would buy that book

Davie, That's another great fly. I have a question. It was difficult for me to hear what you were saying. What kind of feather is that? Thanks again for all your vids. Jason

Would a dubing loop give the same effect as the splitting the thread method you used on the body? Awesome pattern and tie. Jon
@vicweb197812 жыл бұрын
How is the split-thread dubbing method different from just dubbing it normally by twisting the dubbing on? I think it would look pretty much exactly the same in the end, no?
@Zakarialebde14 жыл бұрын
What dubbing was that? Love this fly.
