Some spring chinook tips for next spring.... when sitting on anchor cast your plugs behind the boat using CLAW SINKERS they won't roll and you will get a better spread then back bouncing them.. we also wrapped our plugs with mackerel fillets.. go to your local Asian fish market and look for the oilist fish you can find to us on your plugs.. someday I might try smelt.

Skokomish river Chum at the end? Wish they were doing better there. There are doing very well down on the Green... Hope some of our other rivers can recover.

No Skokomish fish, north Puget Sound in the video. Green is definitely a good spot to try. I’m with ya, hoping we can get all the rivers back

Those were not Skagit Chums that were shown. We hit a nice pod of fish chasing early winter Steelhead on this trip a few years back. Got some cool footage of the combo trip

That looked like the Skykomish where you can't target chums either but there are so many poachers on that river no one cares anymore. Pretty sad!
