Hi William McLean, I've attached a link to a gentleman that has filmed how to whip finish just as I do and as well he uses a matarelli whip finisher which I have used since 1990, it's one of the easiest you could ever use.. I can never get dubbing to go onto the thread like that. any tips?

Hi solti69, Most dubbings will dub much easier if they are well mixed, also if you mix a softer dubbing like rabbit into a course dubbing like seals fur this will help bind the fibres to the thread..It will also help if you moisten your fingers slightly as this will help you as well... ATB Davie
