I heard Country Squire on the radio today and downloaded it right away. I am a fan of old country and listen to Guy Clark, Terry Allen, Sturgill Simpson, Jamie Johnson, and of course the late John Prine to name a few of the great artists. These are singers who can get on a stage with an old six string and entertain from the sole. I know that the majority of the youth listen to the new stuff put out now in Nashville and the record company just wants the money. I can't come to listen to it on the radio and it is even harder to watch the CMA awards now to see half pop groups getting awards. If they had to sing for their dinner they would probably starve without all the fancy tech equipment covering them. I call it cookie cutter songs. They all sound the same. I am so glad that we still have real music artists who write real life stories. I hope Tyler you continue to stay with this type of music and don't try and go to out there away from your roots like many others have.
@slothbros76074 жыл бұрын
They all sound the same and the words are practically the same. It's like they are playing the same song over and over. None of the songwriters seem to be over the age of 25 and have no apparent life experiences to write about other than partying by the river in their pick up truck??? No heart. No soul.
