From someone who played against Tyler ullis throughout highschool ( schools were about a mile away) I can say that ullis is a better ball player now. He's got the control of a game college point guards require, consistent jumper, dimes. But with that being said I'm a huge fan of trevor dunbar and the 10000 hours series. Trev is a true competitor with great strength and handle for a smaller guard. I think trevor will has a chance to still be a great college player because he puts in the work. Wherever he goes he will make it work and be a guy who flys under the radar in college but might jump on the national scene that Ullis will be on.

I think tyler is a better player at this point, high iQ, heady point guard, better shooter, great ball handler, great defender. Trevor is a great young player too quick, crafty, very entertaining. Although I find Tyler to be better him having kentucky as an offer doesn't mean that hes automatically better. Lot of great guards went to small schools, rankings in high school are overrated. Shabazz napier, ryan boatright best backcourt in the nation neither McDonalds all americans. Some studs dont get the same exposure or hype as others. Both great guards though. Idk why people come on KZbin to bash young talent. Trevor Dunbar isn't D3 and tyler isn't wayy better. Trevor holds his own against him.

Tyler Ulis is actually ranked as one of the top 30 players in the country. Trevor Dunbar isn't even in the top 100. Tyler is a five star player and Trevor is only one star according to the ESPN Recruiting website. All you guys see is Trevor doing all this fancy stuff against low level competition. If you really go to the games, you can see that Trevor cannot shoot, Shy's away from contact, does not play defense, is not fast, and is only a high level passer occasionally. He is not able to carry a bad team. Plus Tyler is a McDonald's All-American. Do the Math.

Tyler is the better pg obviously, because he can shoot the long ball, and decision making (playmaking). Trevor can learn to do these things. Tyler was not ranked until later in his junior year. There are tons of NBA or overseas players that have been ranked incredibly low. It does not mean anything. Scouts try to rank potential, but your potential is as high as you want it to be. Trevor had held his own against the few top100 players and NBA players he faced. Even with his flaws. Of course he is not as good as Tyler, but do not try to bash him ESPN stats as justification. Especially, when pros can not even guard him. What happens when he becomes a better playmaker? You're going to refer back to ESPN?
