I like when you do small guards because I feel that the information in these ones pertains a lot more to the general viewer base than making these videos on genetic monsters like LeBron or Durant. That's not to say you shouldn't make those videos or that the info in them isn't relevant I just think most subscribers could learn more from guys like Tyler and Chris Paul then they could from those other guys I was talking about.. Keep up the good work I really enjoy these a lot.

This is exactly what I need. I'm short and small and I panic on the court when playing against bigger and faster players. I watched a lot of Tyler ullis and he looks patient and calm and im trying to mimic his playstyle and also cp3

Ageed. It seems like a patient playstyle is the best and can control the tempo. Like Lebron and recently harden.

By Any Means Basketball in the future, if you do make health and injury prevention clips guys like j stockton, malone and k abdul jabar would be very good reference. They are some of the few to have been great, durable and enduring in most of their career. And These three were even known to exercise somehow off season like hiking/biking(stockton), fishing(malone) and martial arts training (kareem). It interests me to see how your channel will present that.

Dope vid. Tyler is one of the most intelligent basketball players I've watched play. Rare mistake here or there but 98% it's the "Right" play! And to whomever created this analytical short, you definitely should look in to scouting. This was point on! Thanks and good luck ✌️

Great content as usual but quick note: pretty sure hedging is the opposite of what you showed in the video. That's icing when the big man sags off like that. Hedging is when the big man bumps the ball handler away from the hoop to buy time for his defender to cover him. Other than that, love the analysis for sneaky, crafty players that surely have a lot of techniques due to their lack of athleticism (CP3, Thomas, Ulis, etc)
@ByAnyMeansBasketball8 жыл бұрын
Icing is when the on-ball defender does not allow the ball handler to go over the screen, and funnels him into the big man towards the baseline. A hard hedge is what you described, but a soft hedge (or "contain") is what is shown in the video (although one of them is an ICE, against Stony Brook), where the big man drops back and contains the ball handler until the guard can get back. Appreciate the support!
@juice98468 жыл бұрын

Why did he take down Attention to Detail: Chris Paul?!
@markhathaway94564 жыл бұрын
Short guard using fakes and hesitation and look-offs to confuse the defense. He keeps good offensive spacing to avoid blocks! The focus on him out front surveying the court to find open teammates for easy shots down low is very important. A small guard has to be a great assister-play-maker. I wonder why I haven't heard of him, so I looked him up on Wikipedia and apparently he had a hip problem. That's a shame.

either way its a very useful technique that he uses
“He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.” Isaiah 53:3-12 NLT "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. The Key To Eternal Life: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4vHp2CKqc6Aock For evidence for Christianity and answered questions, check out kzbin.info and kzbin.info because if Jesus really rose from the dead it is the most important fact ever! I like the videos, but some of the stuff is getting repetitive like the shoulder dip and the long stride, it might be better in the future if you assumed that most of the people watching have already watched some of your other videos. This may be why your getting some negative feedback
@ByAnyMeansBasketball8 жыл бұрын
+Avrumi Frankel appreciate the feedback, but I would say the videos are 90% unique... For example, the shoulder dip and long stride are only mentioned in the athleticism technique video, so explaining that Ulis does that is only building off of another video!
@alanf56158 жыл бұрын
Ok, you literally just proved my point, I've seen the athletics video, therefore spending a lot of time on that point again was a little dull. I'm not trying to snipe you, I'm trying to give you whatever aid I can to make the videos better. Suggestion:don't say you want feedback and then try to undermine the feedback that is given. Especially if the feedback Is accurate.
@ByAnyMeansBasketball8 жыл бұрын
+Avrumi Frankel I'm not attempting to undermine the feedback! I am just challenging this certain point, because I truly believe that showing players that do the things in the more general videos just emphasizes those techniques...
