Bro I was just about to tell you you should hit up The Villages Florida Start northside and move your way down you’ll hit more than 100 ponds it actually might take you a good year to film all of the ponds in the villages Some are off golf courses Summerall residential summer connected to the actual Lakes Lake Sumter Landing has ginormous fish you probably need to get permission to fish there and film but if you do you will not be disappointed everybody I know that has fish there has caught a 10pounder plus

Awesome video. I’d like to add that frog masterclass video that you mentioned may in fact be my favorite fishing instructional video on KZbin. It actually is the video where I hit the “subscribe” button. There were so many frog fishing videos that really didn’t teach the mechanics or anything of that nature. With a title like “The Last Frog Fishing Vide You’ll Ever Have to Watch”, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Took what I learned and went from someone who never caught a fish on a frog before to being an avid frog thrower. Absolute KZbin gold.

Huge supporter of your content! I currently only have one rod and reel combo (7’ MH fast action Lews TP1X) and would like another rod to throw topwater frogs and use in heavier cover but that could also double as another rod to throw some Texas rigs, jigs, etc. if the pond I’m fishing isn’t ideal for that application. Hey Tyler love the videos you have taught me so much and made it to where I could catch my personal best 4.3 largemouth on a jig with a craw trailer but my question is would it be worth it to put a trailer on a spinner or would it work better to just leave it as is? Also do you have any videos on casting out your baitcaster I'm struggling to get the side cast I can only seem to do the overhead and sometimes the over the shoulder.

Then purchase a cheap one and learn to use it. See this video to see why I’m so passionate about not using a spinning rod for a frog: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5jTfJymZ7-soLs
@gustavotellez53582 жыл бұрын
@@TylersReelFishing I viewed your video on this topic. No disagreements! But I must point out that there are some very finnessy frogs out from Spro (Poppin frog 40) which are very light. Moreover, there exist medium heavy, even heavy bass spinning rods. That said, IMO the best arguments you made are: 1) the ergonomics of a baitcaster are much superior that those of a spinning rod for frogging, and 2) the hookup ratio should also be much better. In the end using a spinning reel for frogging will limit where you can do frogging to the thinnest of cover. Thanks for the info!

Hey man I idk what you meant by throwing a frog on a spinning rod can somebody explain?
@dontnonowuno99532 жыл бұрын
He meant that it is not the right setup for success.Ive seen it done before with an extra stiff spinning rod and braid but..It's alot easier with a highspeed baitcaster and heavy /fast action rod to get the fish out of the slop before they dig in.I guess if your fishing open water it would probably be alright
@W1kkk2 жыл бұрын
@@dontnonowuno9953 yeah but most people that fish have a one rod Arsenal that’s probably why. And for some people twitching a frog on a bait caster is uncomfortable so they use a spinning rod
