@@ameditationon great observation, I’m simply saying his living room is clearly not sound treated. You can hear how much reflections are in his vocal performances in the video yet he still records it. Simply trying to share to small artists, don’t stress that shit. If it works it works. Yes he has high quality equipment but even that doesn’t help with bad room acoustics yet Tyler makes it work.

It is super impressive. That being said, it's important to note that once he's done producing and arranging he sends it off to Grammy award winning mixing and mastering engineers that make it sound even better. Bedroom artists don't have access to those kinds of resources.

Seeing it filmed like this, with a mix of more professional shots alongside some that just look like random videos or even something you would see out of a zoom call makes this feel so much more personal. This is one of the best examples of showing the creative process that I have ever seen.

The stars really aligned for me man! Growing up as a teen, I was listening to A$AP Rocky heavy, watching loiter Squad and laughing at Tyler’s sway freestyles, fast forward to 2018 I discovered Daniel Caesar. Daniel has arguably had the biggest impact on my life as far as artist to consumer Goes. To see how all 3 of yall are connected deeply as brothers brings joy to my heart. It feels like I’m lucky that there is a piece of my innocence and adolescent that gets to live on forever!

5:43 its moments like these that make the process of making music or art in general so enjoyable and worth it : when youre at a level where you know youre the shit and youre just amazed at what you can make and how well u can convey and express ur feelings into ur art, and that chuckle captures every part of that feeling . I think my favourite on the album went from being Like Him to Rah Tah Tah. I feel that’s because we are constantly waving in and out of grief. It’s a complicated thing. You’re always trying to balance time for self confidence and time to let yourself feel and process things that happen to you. You need balance to get through, otherwise you tip too much to one side and end up crashing either way, but learning through that is important too. From favouriting Like Him to Rah Tah Tah, it’s a transition from that time of feeling to a moment of empowerment. Sometimes you’ve gotta stop crying and hit some mean dance moves so hit play on Rah Tah Tah

I have been around since rap started I’m 57 years young and lately I have not enjoyed rap until I came across Kendrick which lead me to you. This project or should I say experience has renewed my faith in where rap is going. I have not listened to a album from front to back in a while but I was sucked into this experience from track one. Rap hasn’t been about telling stories lately and I am so glad and proud that you are bringing it back to where it started. This has been on repeat and I THANK YOU!!!. This definitely a classic and masterpiece. THANK YOU TYLER!!! This is one of my first listens to your music and I am instantly a fan. Great work of art❤❤❤❤❤

Cuz they aren’t musical artist and don’t craft their sound from scratch. He’s literally doing it himself or he has someone that can play a certain instrument and tells them the sound he wants. Him crafting his music is what’s selling records😂
