Happy to see massa finally getting the spotlight treatment, especially when it's such a charged song to sing in front of an audience. It seems like the more Tyler goes live with it the more he's comfortable with some of the stuff of the verses and straight-up ditches some of the more obscured parts for more literal verses (e.g. "custody between X and Y" in the og recording VS "boys and girls" in live), which takes some serious balls to do at an award event of all places. It's clear he's finally reached a point where he's comfortable with himself, props to him.

yeah theyre like subtle changes but the lyrics still have the same meaning. its like hes either trying to dumb it down or make it abundantly clear what the metaphors mean

Hearing this song for the first time was so amazing because its all kind of a rant by the end, and that second verse has a really one breath/stream of thought delivery. Seeing him maintain the performance while also going a little crazy on the second verse, almost like he’s going crazy trying to defend himself to all the hate he gets. This delivery was so amazing. I need to see this tour!
