Dude by that logic drake is the greatest and best rapper of all time, to ever exist in the universe. 2pac and biggie became legends with 1 or 2 albums, but their impact ushered in a new era and culture.(fee albums + death) Kendrick is lacking impact, his works are amazing, but non of his albums have had that impactful that they redefined the culture or shifted hiphop/music. He's been my favourite artist for the last 4 or 5 years now, but he isn't a legend yet. It's fair to say he's the best out right now, and he isn't even finished giving us his best work yet, when he stop giving us the same quality of work and finally decides to retire or die then he can be a legend. When I think of what biggie, Andre 3000, em, dre, snoop, Wayne, ice cube, meth, busta, big pun, LL, eazy, etc have contributed and when I think if what kendrick has contributed, you don't get the same feeling of impact. If you want to hand out legendry status based on a few songs or albums many mumble rappers can be given that status. For example future, I'm sure that asshole released like 4+ albums in like a year or two and everyone hype the hell out of them.

I love the visual artistry of his live performances. There's a high level of thoughtfulness to the abstract elements that compliment his songs. He's able to take his roots and combine them with performance art, and what is unveiled is an emotionally powerful truth symbolically told through the well-crafted medium of his art.
