Yes the best way to drink a small carton of milk is to open the carton completely. I did this as a child and was made fun of but then I convinced my 3rd grade class that it’s optimal for chugging. That's a very interesting idea! I was thinking long and hard about whether the jelly and bread aspects could be improved on but I came up blank for the bread. @@thespankmyfrank for sure, and Safiya and Tyler also noted that the peanut butter layer had a little bit of an unexpected consistency to it, but that it was their favorite part, so letting some good flavor compromise the purist idea of a fully gelatinous dish may not be so bad in this case. It may not turn out as pure blob-like in texture as say the rain drop cake, but I think it could taste better

Yes this! But they would need to either be more deliberate with the ratios of their ingredients, or just follow an authentic recipe for xingren doufu or rau cau dua. I think the biggest issue with the recipe they used here is it didn't adequately account for dilution and so all the flavors were mega watered down. Like think of the jelly layer...5 tbsp of juice into 8 oz of water? Of course it's going to taste like watery grape juice, and not even remotely like actual jelly.

In addition to Tyler being more in the driver's seat, Carly appears to be the only producer with a hand on the wheel and they all seem to pretty much let Saf run free with whatever weirdness she wants to do, unlike the much more polished and heavily produced main channel videos. Livestream vibes (which, by the way, are they going to start streaming again?) You can tell Saf is a lot more relaxed just by the more random funny shit that comes out of her mouth, and her occasional swearing (which she never does on the main channel) that for some reason makes me inexplicably giddy lol.

So I looked it up, and it seems I was wrong on one front, apparently it can be done with multiple elements. The one article I read (Fact or Fiction?: Lead Can Be Turned into Gold, from Scientific American, article from January 31 2014 for anyone who wants to check my source (which you should, first because good practice, and second because I am very aware I am an extremely unreliable source)) mentions it being done with both Bismuth and Lead, however it is still extremely cost ineffective. Quote from that article; ““It would cost more than one quadrillion dollars per ounce to produce gold by this experiment," Seaborg told the Associated Press that year. The going rate for an ounce of gold at the time? About $560.”

In Singapore (and I'm fairly certain many other parts of South-East Asia), agar agar jellies are a somewhat traditional dessert. They're served just like this "smooth PB&J" but with different flavourings - coconut, pandan, and dark brown palm sugar (gula melaka), and sometimes in more recent years, rainbow colours with fruit juice etc. You can often find them cut into pieces and served at cut fruit/juice stalls here, though they're maybe less common nowadays. The 'creamy' coconut layers are usually alternated with clear ones to get that layered/striping effect!
