I get that they all want to combo to win, but K'rrik has like 10 power and lifelink my dude, swing him at people. They either need to take the damage, put a combo piece in front of it or waste removal on it.

I would have swung so hard at krark making him give up krarks or die so he can’t keep stifling triggers seems like it would help a lot. Also gaining an extra 10 life when you have Necro is pretty good.

My read on Logan's logic is that they thought they would take the same amount of damage or more or even die on the backswing so the attacks weren't worth it. Whether that was the right logic or not idk. Also, pretty sure Logan wanted Ethan alive to help police the Magda deck.

I love how the two scariest & strongest decks at this table were two mono colored decks, haha. Both K'rrik & Magda are such fun, resilient decks

Doesn't necropotence make you skip your draw step? Did he have a different piece to do infinite damage too? Cause otherwise logan gets a shot

The Magda deck also has God-Pharaoh Statue, Cloudstone Curio, Terror of the Peaks, and Spine of Ish Sah. The Magda Clock loop can get all of the dragons and artifacts out of the deck. Just with the cards in the deck, Chandler could deal at least 16 damage off the dragons, do a little extra bouncing for damage, blow up K'rrick, and make it uncastable for the following turn. It's also highly unlikely that Logan's hand could win since that deck wins off Aetherflux + Top loops that require a card in deck or Gary + Chainer loops which were denied by the Fork on Reanimate. I don't think Logan has a win con available to him in this position.

My thoughts: the decks are interesting, the visuals are good, the gameplay is good. The thing that really bothers me is the narrator constantly switches verb tenses. They mostly narrate in the simple future tense which has 2 problems. It lacks the sense of action the present tense has, and it’s grammatically incorrect. If you watch the major CEDH channels, they all narrate the games in present tense. Subconsciously, this feels much more exciting to English speakers because it feels like the action is happening right here, right now. When I watched the first couple videos on y’all’s channel something felt off with the narration and I figured out this is what it is. Technically speaking from a Magic perspective the narration is excellent. I recommend paying attention to this next time around, keeping everything present tense, and it will make the video better. My 2 cents.

Not to belabor the point but here’s an imaginary example. Your video: “Dave casts Ad Nauseam. In response, Mike will crack his Misty Rainforest, he’ll pay 1 life and he will fetch a Hallowed Fountain.” Should be: “Dave casts Ad Nauseam. In response, Mike cracks his Misty Rainforest, pays 1 life and fetches a Hallowed Fountain.”

@@DCDragoCraft not at all. There’s a difference between people hanging out and talking and someone trying to build a viewer base by making quality content. Present tense conveys action, it’s basic high school English. You’re correct it is a picky comment, but check out the top 2 CEDH channels and see how they are doing it

Witherbloom Apprentice + Chain of Smog is an infinite damage combo if you have the copies target yourself. Cameron revealed Witherbloom Apprentice off of the Ad Nauseam. Cameron had the prerequisite 4 mana for the combo off lands, dorks, Earthcraft, and the Mox Diamond in hand, so if Cameron flipped Chain of Smog, he'd likely have won.

Didnt Ethan still have fierce Guardianship in hand which could have been cast to counter dockside which would leave the stifle open for the magda ability.

I don’t know why, but I find the music y’all use unsettling and nauseating. I know y’all won’t change it because if one person, but I would definitely enjoy y’all’s videos more if the music was different. Great gameplay!
