How hard to pick from the 3 finalists - all of those were terrific on a very hard subject. Well done. Thank you for posting!!!!!!

Joanne, the credit card lady expressed what that bridge was all about. Brilliant work. I don’t think you can call yourself a judge if you bring your prejudices along with you. ‘Oh no! Not a seagull! Oh dear, no people, please, no people!’ They make themselves ridiculous. The judges should be seasoned artists, people who are familiar with the struggle, not just smooth-talkers.

Joanne’s painting using the credit card was incredible. I gasped when they announced the winner …

I agree with Jasmine. It's all subjective anyway.

Thanks. But for a jury an opinion shouldn't be so subjective in the sense there is many criteria as technique, the management of complexity or simplicity, ability in choosing the colours and why, ability in using the choosen materials, the force of the impact of final result.... For the jury subjectivity is better to come at the end of the total result.

Those judges frightened me. They represent the ugly downward spiral of art, fashion, and music. I bet they'd select an age 9-years child's drawing
