Great informative video. Memories of pilfering fruit from one of the many, now since long gone, warehouses down the quayside as a kid early 70's. Just a few bits here and there as kids do. "Just what do you do with 26 oranges?" Lived in St.Anthony's so it was an adventure to be venturing a few miles along the river to the quayside. ☺

Sorry, one correction I noticed - Ouseburn for was opened on 13th Dec 2005, not 2004 as stated in the video. At least that what the plaque says that I was looking at in the farm today. Otherwise, another great video, I learn a lot from your channel.

I talk about this in my videos but it’s vibrancy, it’s energy, it’s individuality and it’s quirky and cool. Great places to eat, drink and listen to live music snd packed with interesting history. I’m releasing a video about Adam soon as I interviewed him and I think it’s good to help you get KZbinrs, and Adam learns a lot from me, even though he has a much older and bigger channel at the moment 👍🏻

Another fantastic video. After moving to Newcastle in 1997 I have loved most of the regeneration I have witnessed especially around the Quayside but I think removing the cycle hub would be a mistake along with a block of apartments 18 high! Let’s keep the lower level and also some heritage, there is loads of space along the river to the TA and Bell Valves to build on. Great collaboration and great idea Eddy to add Jordan in. Hope there are a lot more videos like this, keep up the great work.

Eddy, it's a shame this lad doesn't mention Newcastle motor boat club which has been in the ouseburn since the 60s with very little support from council or ouseburn trust, we even had our club house taken away to become the ouseburn regeneration centre, now the cycle hub. it should also be mentioned that the famous barrage has never worked from day 1 which the developer and council were both told would be the case but went ahead anyway.

I apologise any full video of the Ouseburn and it’s regeneration should include the motor boat club as that’s been a part of the Ouseburn for most of its recent history. I would love to come down and make a short film about the motor boat club and the challenges you’ve faced with the Ouseburn regeneration
