Newcastle Utd Women smash attendance record at St James’ Park!

On Sunday 25th November 2021, Newcastle United Women smashed the attendance record for an FA Cup match, which was held at St James' Park. The attendance was 28,556 and they saw NUW beat Barnsley Women 2-1.
This video captures the atmosphere in the pre match build up with some great children and family interviews. With my Press Pass, I then head into the stadium media suite to capture the atmosphere and game from the press seating area. After the game, I interview the two goal scorers, Georgia Gibson and Sharna Wilkinson. I also interview Charlotte Potts who in mu opinion our woman of the match.
Before the game I capture a song played by a quartet called 'Howay the Lasses'. They performed their song in the centre circle and I incorporated it into my video. You can get access to this and their other songs via their website www.howaythelasses. com

Not a Newcastle fan but stumbled upon your channel, i'm very impressed with your content, extremely high quality, very informative and I enjoy watching. I hope this channel continues to grow because there's not much real content on KZbin these days. What a game of two half's first half lasses didn't seam to be in but second half unreal two goals .I agree with you eddy that lass at the back was absolutely lass of the match what a shift she put in and didn't wobble under pressure was just so calm and collective in doing her job at the back

Enjoyed today great occasion for not only NUFC W but also North East football as a whole especially with guests such as Savannah Marshall been amongst the crowd this afternoon. As for the match it's not about how you win it's about making sure you win two excellent goals today. All eyes now on who we get in the 3rd round I'm hoping for a home tie against either Sunderland or Durham because that would make way for one massive occasion for North East football especially if it can be at SJP!

Great result thought wasn't the greatest of first halves but great goals scored in the second to seal the win to make sure that we go into the next round of the cup. I'm hoping now that the championship clubs come into the FA Cup that we can draw either Sunderland, Durham or Boro at home and make a massive occasion of it at SJP.
