The type 45s ain't a match in fire power... And tech is debated everyday. If anything, the 45s perhaps have a chance against the 052C or the Chinese sovremenny class or the older 051s or simply frigates or corvettes. The Royal Navy can't match in numbers nor firepower, but the US can. The glorious days of the British navy are over, for the foreseeable future.

Considering they've incrementally improved the same class for about 20 years, it's probably a pretty good Ship. However, All the branches of the PLA tend to be way less "brave", when they encounter somebody who isn't unarmed.
