I feel the type 74 G is better. it has an amazing suspension which if you learn how to use properly you can control some areas of the map it has the ok thermals and the better round at the same br I am biased with this as m735 has not been kind to me in my entire time of playing Japan or any other nation that uses it also the type 74 G should be coming out in February for JSDF day and another thing is that in the passed for developers is that Japan should be getting Thailand ground/air sometime hopefully anyways awesome content dude I hope you keep up the great work

I've used this quite a bit and can't think of any time I've thought to myself that I need a better round. Maybe it's because I used to main Britain.

The reload on it is below average though, especially when it faces 10.3 every match like I do when using it (10.3 is a BR black hole). If the reload is going to be so bad, I have a problem with the M735, because the post pen damage on it is just terrible. Either a buffed round or reload would make all the difference in the Type 16(fps), even if it’s uptiered it wouldn’t matter since I rarely to never downtier to 8.3 anyways. Hell its easily killed at 8.3 anyways cause of no armor, even a panther can go through the turret. It gets out reloaded with aced crew by a expert crew on Leopard 2 and STOCK crew on M1 Abrams, which have better armor, gun, and maneuverability even though Type 16 is 105mm caliber and leopard 2 is 120mm. Doesn’t help that I see the M1 Abrams, Leopard 2, and T72 almost every match in it. Sure it out reload the T64 by 0.4 seconds (6.7s V.S 7.1s) but the T64B gets 3bm42 which is basically double the penetration of the M735 for all practical purposes in game. Who cares about 0.4 seconds extra reload when you gain the capability to lolpen even the Leopard 2A4 Frontally almost everywhere? Maybe I’m just bad but I really dislike how weak the Type 16 is.

@@weaboo274 Accurate name. Also, I really dont care about reload speed since it is a wheely boy. I only use it as part of my 9.3 BR preset, it just cannot handle most 10.3 MBTs unless you know the weakspots, which is where playing Britain really does do wonders (learn or lose). On being easily killed, the armour is mobility, you just need to keep moving, change where you shoot from each time if you can, keep the enemy on their feet. Remember, they have to traverse their turret, you can move and keep it concentrated on their location.

I've been playing a lot of AB lately and unlike in RB, this thing is utter dogwater. I just can't find any way to use it properly. I thought the Wolfpack was bad, but at least with an autoloader and crewless turret + its massive size, it can actually work some ridges and rocks really well. This thing just can't in AB, because any direct hit to the turret even if fully hulldown means guaranteed instant death. Not to mention people can hit your turret roof, pen at obscene angles very close to 90 degrees, and still blow up your ammo rack which conveniently sits in the back of the turret with no way to move it. I don't want to go back to RB just to farm with this thing, but I really don't see how I can use it.
