Today learn about the WWII Type A-3 Mechanics Cap. This one is from SM Wholesale and is a bit big. We'll try to soak it to shrink it a bit.

I legit forgot I own two of these from Bronson Mfg - the olive one and a denim version. Used to wear them all the time, my olive one is almost yellow because of being in the sun so often with it back in the day. Looks like it has a shorter brim than these ones from SM Wholesale. I wore the brim up anytime I wore the caps, people were always curious about what kind of hat it was because of that.

I might have to get one from them to try it out. We're they true to size?

@@derekdoeschannel I definitely had to size up to their larger size (I'm a 7 1/2 hat size, 59 cm head approx). I bought the 7 3/4 hats and they fit well, but the olive one feels slightly less deep than the denim one (but it's also been soaked and gotten wet way more often through use). I recall it being SLIGHTLY big when I first bought it, I would consider it maybe a little small now but absolutely wearable (denim one being slightly better at the moment).
