My God! What a beautiful tribute. What a beautiful voice and such a beautiful woman, too. It's the 4th of July, I'm sitting next to my pond contemplating life, seeking reprieve from the stifling heat and humidity. I've been listening to Type o Negative all day, something I do when I'm feeling down and alone.. Two years ago, I lost my wife. She was only 35 when she died, far too young. She had a rough life, kidney transplant, lost a child during birth and struggled with depression. I understand that life can be daunting and at times down right cruel. But to anyone reading this.. if your having trouble coping with life, never give up. You have to think of the ones you leave behind, your life doesn't belong to you, it belongs to those who love you. Suicide should never be an option, talk to someone. Doing so does not mean you are weak, it means you are strong. She left me alone, to stumble through this life with no one. No one to walk hand in hand through a park with, no one to confide in, no one to lean on... No one to stop the tears. I'm not looking for any sympathy, I'm looking to stop others from making the biggest mistake one can make... the pain never goes away for the ones that are left behind.. trust me.
@nadiakodes5 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you so much. Thank you for sharing your story, I'm sorry for your loss :( Helping others is the right thing to do. Please don't give up on yourself. I know what emptiness feels like, it's always within me but I've learned to live with it and find joy in life again. I hope you can feel it soon too. With love, Nadia

kodesmusic Thank you for your kind words. I believe it's a subject more should be discussed about. So many are struggling in their lives and all they need is someone who'll listen. Someone to tell them they are special and that they are loved. I think it can be as simple as that, it's the least they deserve. Thank you for the reply. Blessings Jason

I jumped off a six story building in Mexico City when I was 18 because I had a one way ticket to the US to see my dysfunctional adopted Fam. On top of that gang raped when I was just 12, beaten up and assaulted by a student assistant teacher when I asked for help a night when my dad and little brother (him 13, I 15) were throwin hands straight up and he picked me up to get me a greyhound ticket back to Sacramento where I lived with my then boyfriend-now best friend. My dad told me to stay and obey him or get out. I was a good kid but a little misanthropist into 80s Goth/punk. Subculture was an outlet for the betrayal and rage I felt which turned into depression and self destructive tendencies to Xanax/alcohol and toxic relationships. Which is what ultimately pushed me to jumping off my apartment balcony when my bf went to “make a gin&tonic in the kitchen. I grabbed a cable cuz CDMX has cables hangin off shit. Poorer country. But it burnt to the bone of my fingers from the friction.. plus my vagina, legs, stomach, neck & fucked my heels/hip and major head trauma haha you have no idea. But I lived and I regretted that as soon as I jumped. I didn’t write a letter nothing. Just sent a video message saying something like fuck this shit man I feel only pain so I’m saying goodbye. Then smack! But I don’t usually talk about this shit, yeah this is public but whatever. I talked to the dude who jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge. It helped and cognitive behavioral therapy. You can even do it from a laptop. Idc who you are a shrink you vibe with is beneficial. mental/emotional term oil will have an outlet to see clarity. Also Buddhism and playing music or even animal therapy. Plus listen to you instead of give you advice like every other asshole does. Sometimes we just need to be heard.

And I know the grief of losing your partner in crime. Mine died 2018 of an overdose. Fentanyl cut Xanax. We were IV heroin addicts. He was my soulmate. No guy had even been in his level. I feel dissatisfied with men I get with. I couldn’t even do that for a year and a half. I was alone and still am all the time. I bailed him out of jail and let him stay in for a month because I was pissed at him. The drugs made us toxic we never fought till we used. He was 30 and me 20. The system wanted to give him 5-20 years for graffiti. He had a tattoo shop and did murals for the city. His art was beautiful. He had done 4 years in prison for heroin/meth/cocaine possession. I know it was suicide because he had so much in his system and he was always careful. He told me thought the Xans where cut with Fetanyl and to be careful. He wouldn’t even let me have a whole pill. Fucked thing is we all wanted them because of the potency. Now I’m strung out again, numbing my pain through speedballs. Tonight I’m going to try this detox thing at a clinic. I wrote a lot but I felt I needed to reply because no one really heard you and let you know your pain is ok and let you know you’re a beautiful broken soul and not a burden and you will get through this. The grief comes tough straight up makes your chest collapse. But in time you will feel a little more grounded. The pain of losing your lover will always linger. As for my heart bleeds everyday for Zachary DeLong✨🖤💗💘 R.I.P. at least they’re free from this shitshow because we all suffer in this life. The key is to try to find bliss within you and share that so other beings can potentially be relieved of suffering even if it’s brief. Shit I have typed a novel haha. I don’t say much to many people. I just need someone to remind me sometimes you’re going to be ok and it’soktocry, aight? That’s why I’m listening to Type O reading comments at 1am. Time to bathe in my stupid sadness but it’s healing. Different than pity. Don’t let anyone shame you and make you think you’re pitiful for feeling pain. I hide my emotions due to that haha. Need to follow what I preach. Much love from Reno, NV man. Cheers

@@yungchungus304 I'm so sorry for the shit you had to go through as a kid, no one should have that kind of childhood. It sets a terrible tone for how our adult lives usually turn out, typically self medicating. Many don't understand that its the easiest way to forget and move forward with our lives. As time goes by, when we're able to deal with our past in a more positive way, the addiction has taken over. Then, its a whole nother battle. I don't have the answers for you, I wish I could wave my hand and your troubles would disappear but I cannot. Advice i can offer. Get clean, by any means necessary and I know that seems impossible to you. But don't underestimate yourself, I can already see what a strong woman you are...it takes guts to say what you said to me. For me, I pray. I'm no bible thumper, I just talk to God. I was a metal head, tattooed up guy, ran the streets, too. But when I found that connection to God, it's helped me. Also, have you tried Suboxone? Maybe you could find a Sub Doctor. You'll get through this, stay strong
