I know there is software to simulate circuits. And they allow you to place virtual probes into the virtual circuit to check the simulated current at the selected points. What are the best of these kinds of programs? Are there any that are public domain? And do any of them actually allow you to differentiate between these 5 different kinds of resistors? I would expect that they provide options for the different kinds of diodes (ie. zener diodes, schottky, light emitting, etc.), given that they have different behaviors. But these resistors also have subtle different behaviors as well, so it seems that the best circuit simulator programs would need to simulate each of the 5 resistor types.

At 13.18... poly res shown to connect with n+ (sky-blue area).but it looks like metal contact. Please confirm.

Sir while routing with metals it also has resistance right.. This all are parasitics right then u have to include metal resistance too right?

sir in n diffusion type resistor, the layout will be contact-->diff(overlapped on contact)-->n-imp(overlapped on previous diff)--> horizontal diff-->and so forth...ryt? but in poly resistor we dont find any implant ?
