I wouldn't recommend drawing on your phone, but Procreate on the iPad is great!

You should know Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Different companies will sometimes use different software, but they will train you on the job. Skills in Illustrator or Photoshop will translate easily to other programs. I hope that helps!
