I waa an only child raised by a single mother who ran a small coven. I grew up in ritual circle. So thanks to mom I took my 1st Degree at the age of 14. So I guess I am a "Hereditary" kind of witch. That means nothing to me though. I mean that title and $10 will get a coffee at starbucks. No perks or freebies. I tend to only work solo from my home , I love all the "toys" that can be used in ceremonial magick. My backyard is a year round harvest of food , herbs , flowers and I compost everything I can . I have healthiest lawn in the neighborhood. LoL

Two years after your comment, I’m compelled to offer a response : You sound like a grounded, multi-skilled young man with a healthy sense of humor about yourself-and I’m guessing, a great Mom… As you have your (Wiccan?) shared history of ceremonial majick in common, have you considered writing a BOOK together? Something tells me that the combination of Family and Witchcraft would be fascinating to a wide cross-section of people ; a highly marketable Publishing Project, indeed… Plus, your writer’s “Voice” comes through loud and clear!

Whenever i came to my extra English tutor class early, it would rain. I didn't know why and everyone around me had joked about me being a witch and came early before the rain (because i had a reputation of being late to class at this tutor center, but every single time, in 2 years without fail, if i came early, then it would rain later that day). And once i came almost 2 hours early, it rained right after my arrival, and on that day the biggest storm of the year came, the center's power was cut off for 2 hours and i found out that there was an accident happen on my way home to this center, and i had just missed it

This video is very informative. I fall into a few of these categories. I work with candles and dried herbs. I don't worship deities as I am not religious. I only observe the equinoxes, solstices, the season's, and certain cycles of life( birth, death, marriage, coming of age, ect.) I tried wicca, but for me, believing in deities is not for me, however, I do believe in masculine and feminine energies in nature and people, but they are just that, energies, not deities to me. The triple goddes to me only represents the cycle of a womans life from youth to elderhood, but not as a goddess itsself, just a representation of the feminine life cycle. I do work with certain angels and spirits when the need arises, and I am not above baneful magick. I will perform baneful magick, have been approached and show things by demons in the past who wished to teach me the "infernal mysteries" (as they called it) and have shown me some wickedly dark things. Their energy is extremely heavy and dark. One cannot be weak or careless to work with them. I very much tow the line between light and dark and depending on the situation can vere either way. I respect my craft highly, my path definitely very unique.

I am not sure that you could say that Kitchen Witchin' is easy (not that any form of whitching is easy). A kitchen witch needs to be able to cook in the first place. Then there is putting the ingredients together in a way that tastes good. Now let's move on to the nutritional properties of food. Knowing which items provide what vitamins, which ones give you your carbs and so on. Then there comes the medicinal properties. What foods will help with... stomach problems, what strengthens immunities, what ones calm you down or wake you up, and on and on. And then there are the magical aspects of each ingredient. Are you going to introduce an energy that might weaken your work? Will a tea that is supposed to calm as well as relax do that, or will it be anesthetic? And have you ever tried getting a cheesecake out of the oven and cooled WITHOUT it splitting? Not easy. I don't think that kitchen Witchin' is that much harder than any other form of witchin'. Each type has its own difficulties that are unique to that tradition. But I would not call kitchen witchin' easy. I will say that most kitchen witches make it LOOK easy. But then... we are doing something we love to do.

From my understanding, sigil Magic, Effigy dolls, creating spirit servitors, Etc are all considered chaos magic. I think there's a lot of things that figure into the chaos magic, because it's more of the eclectic witch practice in a way? Since it is all very freestyle. For example, despite incorporating spirits or Deities, they don't necessarily stay associated with any one entity or Deity for long or consider it worship. I'm solitary, kind of a newbie. I'm just observing the sabbats, and learning more about the different kinds of witchcraft/wicca/hoodoo. I'm from Kentucky and my ancestors were Germans from Pennsylvania (Deitch) who migrated to Kentucky with Daniel Boone in the 1700s. So, I'm attracted to Appalachian style folk magic (which is what the folklife culture here feels like - it's witchy without knowing it's witchy), hoodoo, braucherei, but really anything that feels witchy with or without the label. Some of my favorite non-witchy witchy books are the Foxfire series of books about different aspects of Appalachian folklife, my "Wildflowers and Ferns of Kentucky" book, that type of thing. I do incorporate god/goddess and work with some aspects of draconic wicca, but it's not my main thing. Wildcrafting, gardening, and reducing my carbon footprint are my main "witchy" practices that aren't. The Liziqi youtube channel really is more "witchy" to me than most witchy youtube channels, because she mainly just does wildcrafting and cooking and living in harmony with nature, which to me is what it's all about. I do love *your* channel 'though. :) And Madame Pamita's stuff, and New Age Hipster. I think I *might* describe myself as New Age Folksy.

I felt scared to come out to my parents because I was raised to find my own religion and I felt drawn to the earth and nature. My stepdad was unsure at first and has gone out of his way to sit with me and ask about it as well as respect my privacy when I'm practicing. My mum had an inkling I was a witch deep in her soul. What are you talking about? She's a baby witch. All she did was name a list of wiccan buzzwords. She only addressed one system of magick. There are thousands upon thousands, and she never once mentioned a different type of witch. Let's hear about Mambos, Chinese Wujiao, or Native American Medicine women. They are witches in every sense. They don't fall into these categories. That's what a different type of witch is. That's when the rules change and you actually start seeing another kind of magick.

@AZTLANSOLDIER135 жыл бұрын
Rich cultures there. Brujos are Mexican witches that follow pre Columbian pagan ways. In Africa witchcraft is still very common, although more persecuted these days after the introduction of Christianity and Islam. African witchcraft can often be synonymous with Vodoun.

I would love for you to do all 15 in 15 separate videos or maybe 2-3 in one . It might be a little too much though but would love a fire witch video always been drawn to it.

Though I'm eclectic, I will also refer to myself as a 'Quantum Witch' as I incorporate elements of quantum theory into my practice, drawing energy from sources such as gravity and magnetism and working with space and time and the multiverse - while still engaging in more traditional practices such as kitchen and elemental witchcraft. I feel this practice resonates with me.

I remember seeing someone online describe themselves as a music witch and he used music and instruments such as his guitar in his spell craft. I found it both unique and beautiful in a way

To be honest, I get the same vibes here that I do from disossiaDID. Really nice, neutral, and informative.

I think I am an eclectic witch but more into Sea, Kitchen, Water, Cosmo, and Crystals. I definitely use a bit of all of those.

I feel very drawn to kitchen witchery. I find myself doing a lot of sigil magick on my tea and coffee and wanting to put magick and intention into everything I make. I have a feeling that as I develop my craft, I will likely end up being more of a hearth witch, but I definitely use like 90% kitchen magick at the moment.

Thanx. I believe that by term l am eclectic, because l come from practitioners, l work with all the elenents, the moon, l live in an island and my uncles had a very close relationship with the sea, lm pretty good in kitchen magick, l have a magickal garden, my mom and l have fairies in our house (and we know because of mushroom circles, elves circle and certain plants they make their home. Can't explain you would have to see). I also chant, use tea magic and more. I usually don't label myself in my craft, but eclectic really sums it up.

I'm not a witch per se. I'm more of a Ceremonial Magician pulling from Greaco-Egyptian (PGM and related text), Thelema, Perso-Arabic grimoires etc. I really enjoy your channel, and I think most if not all magickal traditions can find common ground and learn from each other.

There is a name for a witch that only practice at night time with night elements? Or is just a variation of the cosmic witch? Without the sun?
@sophia-helenemeesdetricht19576 ай бұрын
I'd probably call that person a night witch, but I could see it sharing a relationship with Moon witchcraft similar to the relationship between sea witchcraft and water witchcraft

Definitely eclectic. Largely hearth, with sprinklings of water, crystal, fairy, lunar, pop culture, spirit, and tech. Basically whatever suits my need at the moment lol

Thanks so much for this💕. I'm still in my research phase but I'm looking to start practicing magick and knowing the different types of practitioners will really help me 🤗
