Not many people are talking about how this typhoon struck the tiny islands of Saipan and Tinian before Yutu AKA Rosita made landfall. I been living on Saipan since I was born here and let me tell you, when daylight broke after landfall, the scene was not pretty. Power poles toppled, cars flipped over, buildings lost their roofs, I could go on and on. It took two weeks for power to be restored for us. The community of both islands and the military cleaned up the debris and gave out food and water. Multiple charities were also set up to help raise money for people displaced in the typhoon. Due to this amount of damage in the Marianas, the name Yutu was retired. I will never forget the day Typhoon Yutu made landfall over the Marianas.

I see some overhangs that you are under that look like no way it would survive and yet in the winds it does okay. And then I see some video where the roof blows off. What can you say about the buildings you see? And then to add my dumb question, how do these tall buildings not blow over lol? Thumbs up on your videos 👍
